Provider did not listen to patient, discontinued long term medication without prescribing new medication causing severe withdrawal symptoms and side effects

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!! EITHER THE DOCTOR I MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH, THE COMPANY, OR BOTH. And guess what Brightside, I have lots of screenshots to back up what I'm talking about. Thank goodness. At the very least, the doctor I booked with is a scammer who pretended like I wasn't on the call and then charged me the $165 cancellation fee while leaving me out of my medications! And one minute after the appointment time was over, this doctor responded to my messages saying it's my fault I wasn't on the call. Except, how convenient that she didn't respond to my messages asking her where she was while I was waiting for 20 minutes, UNTIL 1 MINUTE AFTER THE APPOINTMENT. HER NAME IS Oluwakemi Ogunleye. I better see a refund within the next week. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS "DOCTOR".

Terrible customer service, and also hidden fees. Would NOT recommend, they added more stress in a time when I really did not need it. AWFUL company.

On January 28th 2026, I paid $95 to Bright Side Medical for prescription management services and an initial consultation. During my video consultation, within the first 5 minutes the provider informed me that they are unable to prescribe the medications I currently take and that they could not assist with my specific prescription management needs. The provider herself advised me to contact Bright Side Medical to request a refund since she was unable to deliver the services I paid for. I contacted Bright Side Medical to request a refund based on the provider's own recommendation. They refused. Their justification was that their medication limitations are disclosed on their website — however this information is not clearly visible or prominently displayed during the sign up and payment process. A reasonable consumer would not be aware of these restrictions prior to paying $95. I paid $95 for a service that was confirmed by the provider to be undeliverable to me. I received no consultation, no prescription management, and no alternative assistance. Retaining my payment under these circumstances is deceptive and an unfair business practice. multiple back & forth emails & no notes of any kind. they provided zero advice or anything useful. we didn't even bother to discuss anything further since they mentioned to reach out to them for a refund. I filed with BBB on 03/09/26 & they are stalling clear as day & think I'm stupid to fall for that. they claim to respond TO ALL MESSAGES within 72hrs. it's been MORE than 72hrs since I last messaged them & they consistently LIED about everything. do not ever expect a refund for this trash company. they are just making my small claims court easier to win. I can't wait to hear what they have to say when I also filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection bureau a few weeks ago. I hope their incompetence was worth it.

Terrible Cutthroat business. My first time scheduling an appointment I accidentally clicked on the wrong date. I canceled within seconds and rescheduled for the right date. Immediately charged $97 cancelation fee. Sent innumerous e-mails explaining that I canceled within seconds of making the wrong appointment. They didn't care. It's all about money.

Therapist was great . The constant nagging of app and reminders was a no go. Also the psychiatrist was following a script well they both were.

I owe them some money because they have not billed my insurance correctly, I have literally talked to them 5 times over 6 months about this, they swear it has been voided out, but it’s still there. I can’t message my provider, I can’t make appointments, I can’t check in, I can’t check in, I admit I have mental health issues, mental disorders, this is not how you treat someone who needs this service and the meds that go online with it, just block them out with no explanation,

Really needs to screen assessment questions better. Im one of the many that moved and was trying to find adhd meds. The information that they do not prescribe controlled substances needs to be front and center because not doing so is a complete waste of time for most. Adhd is treated primarily with controlled substances. Therapy is garbage. No other medications work remotely decently. Id advise you stop advertising you treat it in general. Literally the only reason I looked for a psychiatrist is because primary care doesn't want to prescribe it.
