The driver was very sweet and kind
The driver was very sweet and kind. However in the past when we have booked and used Blacklane the drivers were dressed in suit coat and dress shirt and nice slacks. Professionally dressed. Our driver had a very nice car, but was in a t-shirt and jeans. The white crisp t-shirt was nice, but I was surprised by that and it turned me off a bit. That is the change between being owned by Uber and being independently owned by Blacklane.

Couldn't recommend it more!
Not only is the process of booking the ride itself is so easy and efficient, but the customer service is extremely responsive and timely. Our driver Jose went above and beyond to cater to the needs of the passengers. He really exceeded all expectations and saved the day on multiple accounts. I really appreciate the entire Bookinglane team and will continue to use them for all future rides!!

They accept payment and hold your reservation as pending for days and then cancel the day before. Totally unprofessional service.
Response from BookinglaneApr 7, 2026
Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry your experience didn't meet your expectations. This reservation was affected by unusually high demand for a major event in the area. We want to clarify a couple of important points: your card was never charged — we only placed a temporary hold on funds, which was fully released when the reservation was cancelled. Additionally, the cancellation was issued more than 24 hours before your scheduled pickup, which we hope allowed sufficient time to make alternative arrangements. We understand this was still frustrating, and we're always working to improve communication during high-demand periods. We'd welcome the chance to speak with you directly at [email protected] and hope to serve you better in the future.
