We’re extremely happy with our Bon Pergola Weatherproof 15' x 19' in Dark Grey! The pergola is beautifully designed, feels solid and well-constructed, and has become the highlight of our backyard. The motorized louvers are incredibly convenient, giving us control over sun and shade, while the built-in lighting adds a wonderful ambiance in the evenings. The size is perfect for our outdoor entertaining area, and the modern design complements our deck and pool beautifully. It has made our backyard feel like a completely different space, and we’ve already received plenty of compliments. A fantastic investment that we’re looking forward to enjoying for years!

First off, we love the pergola. 13x19 Pergola V1. We added motorized screens, motorized louvers and two fan beams. Basic installation went well but I would recommend 3 or more people. Lifting the motorized screens into place was where a minimum of 3 bodies was needed. I only needed my wife to hand up louvers and I finished some custom wiring by myself. Customer support was awesome when we had questions. One critical step is making sure everything is square and level. I spent extra time checking that. We had a problem with one of the louver motors and was shipped a replacement immediately. With all the add-ons it was more than a one day project for sure. 95 degree temps didn't help. My crew was pretty handy with some DIY construction and engineering background. I would not recommend this for a first time DIY novice. Gather up some experience handy man help. Would be a 5-star review other than the effort required was a bit more than expected. Just go slow and steady and you will love the result!

I could not be happier with my experience with Bon Pergola. First, their customer service is amazing. Whenever I called, no matter who answered, they immediately knew who I was, what I had been considering, and what questions or special requirements I had. They truly take the time to get to know their customers and understand exactly what they need. The quality of the pergola itself is superb. I looked at many different options, including the 4K aluminum that so many companies boast about. Bon Pergola uses extremely high-quality aluminum with a beautiful, high-grade powder-coated finish. In my opinion, the quality is every bit as good as if not better than the more expensive options I considered. The installers recommended by Bon Pergola were equally impressive. I originally thought I would need a custom pergola, which would have cost much more than a standard pre made one. After speaking with the Bon Pergola team and their skilled installers, they found a way to use one of their standard Villa Pergolas while still meeting the special requirements of my home. The final cost was literally about one-third of what I would have paid for a custom pergola—and the finished result looks fantastic. See for yourself. Great people, great quality, and great workmanship. I am a very happy customer. If you live in Orange County, I highly recommend visiting their Tustin showroom so you can see the pergolas in person. They also have plenty of photos and videos online. Hands down, Bon Pergola is one of the best companies out there.

Inconsistent messaging on leadtimes.

We had a few bumps with the wall mount instructions and fan beam instructions but we were able to speak with a live person who sent us additional info and worked with us to resolve the issues. We love sitting under it in the sun or the rain. It's changed our summer so much!!! We love it!

Absolutely love our Bon Pergola. Took a little more than planned on the install, but happy with the outcome. Everyone that sees it is very impressed by the quality and look. One change I'd like to see is on the remotes. We have three different remotes. One each for the two shades and another for the louvers and light. Would be nice if it could all be on one remote.

Our pergola is the crowning touch to our home remodel. We can now move seamlessly from our living room to the outdoor deck year-round. Outstanding quality of materials and the screens are nearly transparent so we can can enjoy our landscaping.

Overall, the experience was mixed. I was originally told the pergola was in stock and would ship within 8–10 days. After placing the order, I was informed that it was actually not in stock, and ended up waiting 10 weeks. I would have appreciated more honesty and transparency about the availability and expected timeline upfront. They did provide some accommodations and discounts to help make up for the delays, which I appreciated, although I had to ask for them. There was also some frustration around price matching, as they indicated they would only compare their mid tier product to other’s high-end products. That said, once the pergola was finally received and installed, the product itself has been great. The design is excellent, and the instructions and installation videos are very well done and easy to follow. Overall, I’m happy with the pergola, but the ordering experience could have been much better with more accurate information and communication from the beginning.
