Carl Daikeler, CEO success comes from Customers
The Beachbody executives, including Carl Daikeler, chairman and CEO need to take a serious look at how they treat their customers. I paid Openfit $29/month without issue until the August "migration" to Bodi. Paid $179 in August for an annual membership with an updated email. Just realized that they have not cancelled the $29/month since August (total $203). On top of this, realized in February of 23, 6 mos into the annual membership that there was a glitch and I was only receiving a portion of the services provided to annual members. This is a total payment of $382 for partial services since August. The response from customer service "I understand" repeatedly. They gave me one (1) additional month added onto the annual membership and were willing to refund $29 for the "30 Day Money Back" guarantee. I refused the $29 refund, as I did not want to acknowledge agreement to their resolution. I didn't even ask for money back, but rather, that I be compensated an additional year's membership. This would have resulted in lost opportunity cost not even a refund of money. They are not customer service they are trained counselors that paraphrase what you say along with "I understand". Don't ask for a supervisor, there are none...the first contact is your last and only contact. There is no way to contact the 6 member executive board led by Mr. Daikeler, CEO. There is no way that Peloton would respond the same way. If you are considering the two competing companies, stay away from Beachbody/BODi.
