They upgraded my subscription and charged me 179 £ without permission. Impossible to get in touch with them. The site is clunky, and they only send you to FAQ - which does not reply to this question. Fraud.

I have been with Beachbody for years and love the exercises I’m just not happy trying to contact them which is impossible. I have renewed my bod in January and now they’ve upgraded me at £179 so what happens to my other subscription? I have cancelled and have been trying for 2 days to contact them to process my refund no answer from text or chat and phone lines closed. Is this for real

The exercise programs are decent but not worth the money. Most annoying is that they will not let you order more than one Shakeology sampler pack in a lifetime. Every time I put the sampler pack in my cart, it self-deletes it—even when I was purchasing a full-size bag along with it. I have never experienced a company that would go so out of its way not to sell its products to existing customers. I canceled all of it today—no more Beachbody products, ever.

I signed up for beach body in 2021 on a yearly subscription and canceled it. 2023 I am noticing they charged for another year and at a higher amount I didn't authorize. I have no other emails from this company about any renewals or receipts outside of the first order email and stupid marketing emails about their products to squeeze more money out of me. This is very unethical to not only charge people after they canceled but to renew people on a yearly subscription without any email notification or receipt. They had the nerve to ask me if it went to spam. I checked my spam because how did I suddenly get the cancel email today after calling that went straight to my inbox? They tried to tell me about it's outside of the 30-day money-back guarantee when they don't even email to let people know that they were even charged in the first place. I am still on hold trying to get my money back as I write this. It's been 50 minutes and counting. The rep is just wasting time and I bet he isn't working to get anyone else on the line. He needs to be fired too after I get my full refund for this last charge. PROCESS MY REFUND ASAP. This is fraudulent and deceptive. Update: they responded to my message with lies. There have been no emails of upcoming charges or receipts for me to know you continued to bill me without permission. Such liars! Send proof that you emailed me 7 days prior to billing me and proof of receipt. You can’t because you are LYING.

I've been a member of Beach Body (now BODI) for about 7 years now, I've gone through all of the price changes/merging with Open Fit/Live workouts and its still cheaper and more convenient than going to a gym. I accidently cancelled my membership when i was looking to upgrade and i called their customer service who logged me straight back in - a few people do this and its so easy to fix. Do i like the price increase - no, am i likely to join a gym - no, is BODI convenient with a mass amount of choice - Yes. Simple. I don't buy their extras and i still have plenty of choice in what workout i choose when I'm not sure what i want to do.

I am very upset with Beachbody. I feel as though I was taken advantage of and that my money was basically stolen from me. I signed up for a Total Solutions Hustle and Shake Pack, which included Beachbody on Demand and BODI for a year. I wanted to cancel any further charges (Because I know this company auto-charges unless you actually check the one-time purchase box, which I am not sure is even an option anymore.) However did not want to cancel the membership for BOD and BODI until the year was up. However when I went to cancel any further charges my member ship was cancelled even though it said it wouldn’t until the year was up. Now I’ve paid all that money less than a month ago and have absolutely no access to BOD or BODI!! I am not getting any help from costumer service! Feel very much taken advantage of by this company!!

I bought a yearly membership in November 22 and beachbody was charging me the monthly fees after I paid for a year. The rep was rude and I am very frustrated. That’s crap!! Now they want to say I signed up for the interactive which I did not intentionally do. From what I have read this company likes to do this sort of thing to their customers. WATCH THE HIDDEN INFORMATION when you sign up. Do not recommend. VERY poor customer service.

UPDATED: Everyone please read their response below and this is WHY YOU SHOULD NOT SIGN UP FOR THE ONLINE SERVICE... - I went through ALL of my emails and I NEVER received a notification from Beachbody that my credit card was being billed for another year of service. I did try to cancel my service in 2022 and somehow they have no record of this? Wow! Trust me I get plenty of emails from Beachbody so they have my email address. It is obvious that I do not want the service. As you can see there is NO ACTIVITY on the service from me in > 8 months. Beachbody has software that keeps track of your activity so they can look back and see if you are actually using it. Therefore, Beachbody knows what my intent was in cancelling. Based on the other reviews, 2nd annual cycle billing on people who do forget and are not notified they are being billed annually must be a highly profitable additional revenue stream for Beachbody. Would love to see the metrics on that! - How many customers who haven't used the service in >4 months get billed the 2nd year and request a refund because they weren't notified that their credit card was being billed again. I echo was other customers have said regarding sketchy billing practices. I purchased the annual Beachbody On Demand product on 1/2/22. I found that most of the workouts I liked were the ones I had already purchased the CDs for so I asked for a refund after 4 months. I was informed of the 30 policy which I was okay with to keep for the rest of the and she discussed cancelling the autorenewal. Today 2/23/23 I get my credit card statement and notice a charge from Beachbody on 1/2/23 for a new order on autorenewal which I thought was cancelled. When I texted and called customer service I got the same cookie cutter answer that no refunds are given after 30 days of an order. They claim this is the case with autorenewals as well which completely baffles me. I did not receive any prior notification that my credit card would be charged or and email invoice notifying me that I was billed for a new order (each renewal is billed as a new order). I do not know of any other company that automatically bills your credit card, places a new order on your behalf and gives you no notification. I have been a customer of BeachBody products for many years and have always been happy with the products but this billing practice is sketchy.
