Holiday trip from Milan to Cairo
I traveled from Milan Malpensa to Cairo, departing March 30th. My suitcase didn't arrive at its destination, and after reporting it and exchanging emails, two days later I learned that it was still in Milan. First they said they'd sent it to Cairo, the next day they'd sent it to Luxor, and for days they kept asking for the same information. They took 96 hours, but the customer always had six or twelve hours to respond, or the case would be closed. In the end, the suitcase didn't arrive, and a week later, I picked it up in person in Milan upon my return. The label with my name, surname, address, and email address was still on the suitcase. How is it possible they couldn't get it to me in a week? The only thing I admit they were quick about was the refund, but the problems I experienced during my vacation due to missing luggage were priceless. A negative experience.

Dear Stefano, We’re really sorry to hear about your experience — we completely understand how frustrating it is to be without your luggage during a trip, especially when you’re getting conflicting updates. Just to clarify, the handling, routing, and delivery of baggage is done by the airline and airport teams. In your case, the delays and the confusion about where your suitcase was (Milan, Cairo, Luxor) came from their side, and unfortunately that part isn’t something we can control. That said, we do see how the repeated requests for the same information and the response time expectations added to the frustration, and we apologize for that. We’re working on improving this so communication is clearer and smoother. We’re glad at least that the refund was processed quickly, but we understand that it doesn’t make up for the inconvenience you went through. Thank you for sharing your experience — it really does help us improve. Best regards, Blue Ribbon Bags Support Team
