Misinformation regarding information required, procrastination in processing, no ability to obtain status, no one calls back after the call center says they will, late issuance of visa. And all the Spanish consulate would say is "We can't help." Love Spain and they have some great schools - but I would advise anyone choosing between Spain and another country. Choose the other country. The aggravated nightmare of obtaining a visa through BLS does not make it worth it. Negative 10 stars. Simply put - incompetent. Why is Spain using this company???

This must be a joke, hiring all the work out to a third party Indian company who is reading off a script. There is no customer service to be found. This company hordes appointments, refuses to help when you call, refuses to tell you when available dates for appointments are and furthermore refuse to tell you why they don't have appointments available and If you ask to speak to manager you will be told you will get a call back as their in a meeting. It's worth mentioning that they are always in a meeting and will not call you back. This company cannot explain to you why there are never any appointments they tell you to contact the Spanish consulate, who will simply send you back to BLS as they deal with all visa related queries and problems. In addition to all this they offer a "premium" service which lists exactly the same information as their standard process, states it is no faster, but that it's premium.... aka a more expensive cost with no difference in service, just another one of their avenues to scam you. I am absolutely gob smacked that Spain continue to allow BLS international services to represent them as a country and manipulate their customers. again for those that missed the memo - THIS IS A SCAM. Luckily I'm a British Citizen so I can travel to Spain stress free and visa free, my partner however is not so luck and as such, I will now be taking a week long holiday ALONE. I am beyond disappointed. I will NEVER be booking another holiday in Spain in my life and I would advise everyone else to do the same and avoid the headache and attack on your bank account.

Do not under any circumstance use this company - they are completely incompetent. They use Ai responses to any queries. We wer charged £1500 to process two family member visas which had already been approved by the consulate… when our application got to the consulate we were advised we were missing a document which we were unable to get until we returned to Spain- we were unable to do this as bis had taken our passports …. We had to go to the consulate ourselves to retrieve these- thank fully we did this as a month on after requesting a cancellation of our application we have still not received back our other documents and are unable to continue with another application in Spain ( which costs about £200 ) Absolutely useless Apply yourself and save your money. This relates to our experience more than a year ago Spring/Summer 2023 when we were getting my SA wife's visa for a family holiday in Spain. The trip itself was in August 2023. My children and I are British, and we don't need a visa to Spain. It was impossible to book an appointment at London offices in April/May/June 2023 to submit the documents. We spent three months trying to book the appointment on line. We almost gave up, and thought I would have to go on a holiday with kids and leave wife at home. In the end, we were forced to pay extra for a Premium Service just to book an appointment. Then we had to queue outside for many hours to get in. The stuff of BLS International Services Ltd were friendly and helpful, and I cannot fault them. The wife's visa was issued on time. The problem here is that their London offices are too small, and they have too few stuff to cope with high demand. We did not go to Spain in summer 2024 to avoid the repeat. I shudder at the thought of going through this again and likely will go on a holiday to another country instead. I would like to thank everyone who voted for Brexit, because we did not have any problems going on holidays to Europe before Brexit, and the wife would get a 5 year Schengen visa free of change.

I have done plenty visa applications for myself, I have been to 20 countries cause I love traveling no one has ever stressed me the way BLS Manchester did, apparently in the uk banks issues bank statements every once in a month, my bank issues every 24th of each month, I got an appointment at BLS Manchester for August 20th and brought my previous statement for July 24th and I was told it will not be accepted, I explained that my bank gives out statements every 24th of each month and I have even tried requesting my statement from a branch close to me but I was told it will take 10 working days to get to me but still yet my application didn’t process. BLS you people can do better, it was a painful experience, money, time and all wasted

Absolutely frustrating and depressing experience! Me and my boyfriend lost a lot of money and peace of mind during the time we were waiting for a response. sleeping disturbances and disappointment. my boyfriend is British so the visa was for me as i hold a UK travel document. We payed for a doorstep service which was +400£ he came the next day so i was really optimistic because i like everyone else reed the reviews of people dealing with BLS so i thought maybe they are not that bad. so he came took my picture and fingerprints and told me that i am missing a document and i sent it the next day and he never told me that anything else is missing. i booked a doorstep service because my trip was after three weeks and i couldn't find any appointments online they started processing my visa application on the 26 of July and i never got any updates until i sent an email on the 12th of August asking for updates and all of a sudden they sent me an email saying that there are documents missing and i need to go and hand them in person! my flight was on the 15th of August. and i received a post the next day saying that i needed to provide those documents and the date of the post was 7-8-2024 and i never got anything or any update from them until i sent the email the 12th of August . We went there and gave them the documents in BLS and tried to tell them what happened with us and everything. till the 15th of August we lost our hope and we payed money to change all of our bookings to the 30th of August and we were sure that by then it will be here. (my visa) and my passport was here the 16th of August with a refusal notice that had the date 7-8-2024 so if you already refused it why sending the post? i cant believe how inconsiderate these people are I think its a management issue from the BLS side/staff but I'm appealing anyway. Don't do doorstep service don't expect the whole thing to be smooth sailing process if you are thinking about going to spain i would advice to begin the visa process a year before ur trip to spain and expect the most frustrating outcome

The baddest experience I've had with getting a visa. Make sure you have alot of time to apply because their system takes forever if you make or don't have the right details for amended application...
