In a world of fast paced technology welcome to 90s when using BLS's online system! Tried to book an appointment at Manchester, firstly there happen to be ZERO standard appointments however if you pay extra for a priority you will find that the whole team is available at any time of day/week to book your appointment. 1 word SCAMMERS. Anyways after completing the online form several times the Likeness test wouldn't work regardless of using 3 different devices and the settings were enabled for the camera access. When it did eventually work the likeness would fail and then ask you to complete the form again! Better to apply for a schengen via another route! Do not waste your money or time with BLS. I also emailed them - 2 weeks in and no reply.. If you call them you will wait till the cows come home and eventually they will just cut you off. Disgusting service.

The worst service

I have been attempting for months to secure a visa appointment for my mother at BLS Morocco for a Spanish Schengen visa under the EU family reunification process. Despite my rights as a Spanish citizen, obtaining a simple appointment has been made deliberately impossible. The system is opaque, dysfunctional, and riddled with corruption. It is now evident that appointments are not fairly allocated but are instead sold to brokers for exorbitant prices. I was personally asked to pay €2,000 for an appointment that should be free and guaranteed by law. This is a blatant violation of EU regulations and a disgraceful exploitation of people who are merely seeking their legal rights. BLS operates with impunity, creating artificial scarcity to force applicants into paying bribes. This level of corruption is unacceptable, and I refuse to remain silent. I will be filing an official complaint through my lawyer and escalating this matter to the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy in Rabat. I strongly urge the authorities to intervene and dismantle this exploitative system that preys on families and violates EU principles of fairness and accessibility. For anyone facing similar issues, I encourage you to document everything and report these abuses. BLS must be held accountable.

Would give zero stars if it was possible. The so called helpline staff are absolutely clueless and will misguide you. They don’t even know what their own website says!

Better to plan your European trip differently so you don’t have to go here. I paid for premium as there were no regular appointments. Surprise surprise. The “premium” package is £100. More than the Visa. It entitles you to the same chaos and confusion in the front of the building as everyone else but then you get to sit in the fancy back lounge with not enough chairs and a “free” bag of crisps if you time it right. The consultant helping me didn’t really understand basic communication and thank goodness her competent colleague next to her checked my file and righted her wrongs. The whole place feels like a fake office put up over night to scam a few people and disappear the next day. Good luck. To all of us.

I would genuinely give 0/5 if I could. The most incompetent people I have ever dealt with in my life. Phoned and emailed several times over the course of WEEKS, each time being told different information by both the consulate and BLS. Despite my visa being processed on 30th December and it now being 28th January, I have only now received it after collecting myself. I missed my flight, which was expensive and my first week of University due to their inability to work efficiently. I will never use their services ever again and warn everyone not to either. If you have to beware you have to ask to speak to a manager to get ANYTHING done, become a Karen and pester them until you get your visa.

Worst experience with the online booking. Why don't they mention that, it will take another 21 days to rebook after the booking cancellation? All these stupid things driving me crazy. They don't have any facilities or minimum commonsense to upgrade their system in these modern times.

This embassy has a bad reputation for years and it never changed. Website booking is impossible. The worst experience you will get, website keep saying error. Ridiculous!
