I changed my internet service and nothing allows me to change to new service
I changed my internet service and managed to switch everything else at home to my new provider except for Blink. It is a mess! No mater what I do, change passwords, the new password does not work. I went to delete the entire account and restart it as I did when I initially installed but nope…you need a password but since the password is not accepted or allowed, you can not delete the account. What kind of business is this?

Dreadful do not buy
So after buying six blink devices and paying the subscription for years I had an issue with one device -after calling Amazon and being asked to call blink I was told to buy a new one as warranty had run out
The worst thing is I have always had issues with all cameras but never complained -the blink device is dreadful
After service even worse
Do not buy ..

Customer service is terrible
Customer service is terrible. I spent hours on the phone with several different agents in the last couple of days and got different answers for the same issue. I am seriously thinking of dumping the whole system, calling it a loss and buying something different

blink 4 outdoor cameras
indoors, in a nice warm environment, the outdoor cameras worked just fine.
Initially upon installation outdoors, which was during warmer weather, they worked fine. Once winter arrived, the failure rate began. At times they can be too slow to respond on some cameras, total failure to respond on others, failure to connect, especially when I request ... system busy messages ..., hit and miss catch of people or motion, 4 of the 10 outdoor units eat batteries like they are
candy unless these modules are used indoors. Overall, they certainly do not like the cold winter weather. anything below 32 degrees and half of them fail
blink claim only everready lithium batteries are allowed in these cameras and that other brands are fake ... which is absolute bs. I have a copy of their advertising which only states that AA batteries are required. blink warranty is non existent...i.e. as fake as they claim the other brands of lithium batteries are. and yes, i do have copies of those emails from blink
This blink system only does a very mediocre job, but on the plus side, the neighbors think they are much better than they actually are.
Overall, I am not satisfied with them, they are far too expensive to operate, and I wish I had bought something else. I will be replacing with a wired system.

Really Bad Support
I called blink tech support 3 times and wasted 45 minutes talking with beligerent reps who were in a foreign country who refused to easily transfer me over to a US representative. I couldn't get my questions answered because their accents were so thick that I couldn't understand them. The last rep insisted that I provide my full name before they would transfer me to a rep in the US. The blink website showed a number for "United States & Canada". Well, it doesn't connect you to the United States or Canada. It connects you to a 3rd world country. What a waste of time. I told the last rep that they lost the sale from me, and he responded, "that's fine." These people are losing sales for the company and they don't care. I'm skipping on blink and am moving on to another company. Blink isn't worth the headache.

A doorbell camera that needs to be indoors and away from your door apparently
My outdoor doorbell camera leaked and let moisture into the lens making ages blurry. I contacted Blink customer support about the issue. They initially said water damage isn't covered on the warranty, despite the camera having no damage and having been fitted and used in accordance with instructions. They then suggested to try fixing it by blowing in the lens, even though that is not going to solve the leak. They then tried to imply it had been "barraged" with water, and that it wasn't designed for that - yep an outdoor camera that needs to be away from the rain. They requested numerous pictures, and numerous other things that would obviously not change the fact it has water in the lens - how on earth would deleting and readding the camera, updating software... remove water from inside the lens. It was also suggested I move the doorbell camera somewhere else - yep I should move the doorbell away from my door. I was also told that the outdoor camera ideally needs to be placed somewhere warm and dry - yes, an outdoor weather resistant doorbell camera that not only should be away from my door, but also be indoors! Anyway, two weeks of back and forth, and 48 emails later they agreed to replace the device free of charge, I just needed to supply my contact details. I supplied my details and waited, only to get a reply saying they were still waiting for my response - even though I could see my response with the requested details in the email thread. I responded, and again, later got a response saying they still had not heard from and would close my case in 72 hours if they didn't hear from me - again, my response was clearly shown in the email thread. By now I realised they were probably playing a game, so I accepted their challenge and sent 50 separate emails to them with the requested details. A few hours later I received confirmation my replacement item was being processed. The blink customer service representatives are not very knowledgeable about their products; lack the ability to recognise the nature of a fault or software or hardware; have a complete lack of knowledge of consumer rights and associated law; and have a generous contempt for their own customers.
