excellent food choices and customer service

Inadequate is a great word to use for these meals. They taste pretty good, but BistroMD considers what are mostly 200-300 calorie prepackaged meals “entrees”. Paying $10+ each for what is considered a snack is not ok! If you eat their meals 3 times a day, you’d be totaling between 800-900 calories per day. Completely unsustainable, and overpriced. In addition to the above, I received meals I didn’t order, and plastic containers broken upon arrival. Buyer beware.

This company is the worst. I placed the order and was supposed to be able to modify the menu. It wouldn't allow me to modify it until 24 hours later and then it defaulted to whatever the default menu was so the food I received was all wrong. Then their system told me it would arrive on Tuesday, 11/6 and it apparently arrived the Friday before. I live in an apartment building so I didn't look for it on Friday and by the time I received it, the food was completely spoiled. They then had the gall to speak to me like I was a criminal because of their screw up. Do not use this service. It's a total rip off.

Not understanding some of the reviews they get. Tried it for 3 days and that was all I could stomach. Food tasted terrible!

My experience with BistroMD was very disappointing. While the customer service reps were certainly pleasant, the product is terrible. The frozen and tasteless meals makes regular frozen supermarket diet offerings taste exceptional. And it’s a lot of work/steps to place an order...I recommend against this plan.

Purchased $123.19 in food. Ended up throwing it all away. 100% bland, zero taste or flavor at all. Potatoes are basic but how can anyone remove 100% of any taste or flavor and leave a white lump of nothingness. Ordered the cheesecake and they were grainy. I like simple plain food but this was horrible! Inedible.

This is an expensive plan but there are a lot of things to like about this program. Always plenty of vegetables, low in sodium, and reliable service. The website isn't the best, but it is easy to use. Getting a hold of someone is very easy. Even on the holidays I have received call backs within hours. I wish they had bulk plans that reduced the cost per meal or even a military discount. Definitely worth giving a shot.

I thought it was a good fit for me but buyer beware. Much of the food is too spicy and the meals that are not are bland. The plan was convenient and did help me so I stuck with it anyway. I cancelled my order because I was moving and when I checked on line to make sure the plan was canceled it was not and I was charged. The food on-top of that did not arrived like it would normally come and will not arrive until 4 days later, too late for me to even use the food as the move is in process. Not good customer service. It was almost like because I cancelled they did not care anymore. Make sure you always get a date, time and name of a person that you speak to because they will use that against you if you do not have times, dates and names when trying to get justice.
