I have "drop foot" but using the Bioness is like WEARING a therapist.

The equipment is great. I had a spinal cord injury in July of 2020 and lost my left side leg and arm. I’m currently using the upper leg cuff and lower leg cuff with heal sensor to help me start using weight transfer and it’s definitely helping me do that. I’m hopeful it will be in the future what gives me more in the house independence and less time in my wheelchair.... I also am using the left forearm equipment to open and close my hand and it definitely is getting rid of the swelling in my arm and hand.!! There’s a definite difference. I couldn’t be happier with the equipment so far, the only drawback is the left arm cuff battery dies rather quickly and has to be frequently charged but I can live with that for now but if I need it on longer as I get more use it might be a concern but it definitely does what it says it does...thank you to all the representatives that got this program off the ground for me as I had no real hope till now.!!

I selected 5 stars because the initial 30 days has been a learning experience for me and my vendor. He has been responsive to my questions and understanding of my concern regarding whether the device would work for me. For a stroke patient, it is difficult to rationalize our situation and hope for a better outcome is foremost on our minds. Bioness has provided a positive avenue to achieving a better, independent life. Sensitivity to this mindset has been part of my learning curve as I get more proficient with the equipment and develop my expectations.

I just received the Bioness on Tuesday and had Therapy that day. Yesterday was the first day I had it for more than 30minutes in therapy once a week for 3 times in January, 3 times in February & once in March. Yesterday I wore it for 3 hours and today for four hours. So far I am getting along pretty good. Still adjusting to whether it lifts my 3 middle toes. I wear gel toes to help straighten my toes & keep them for curling under. Sometimes they curl under so tight that they throw me forward and cause me to fall. I will be better able to evaluate them after 2 weeks. The package was great. The simple directions were great for a 78 yr old lady who had a stroke 2 years ago and was in the hospital & rebab for 19 days, followed by 2 mos. of home therapy, and continues every since except for the 3mos. when Covid19 closed SC in March 2020. Although im sure this isn't the typical experience for Bioness costumers, I did encounter multiple issues while obtaining my H200 (ie. Seemingly untrained representatives while taking payment, I also received my device when it was not yet programmed and it had to be returned to have exercise programs entered which caused me not to receive my device until today (March 4th, i initially received the device on the 18th of februrary) though I admit the delay was ridiculously extended due to FedEx, being that my device was at a local FedEx center as of the 25th of februrary, in 'containerized status'. Which bioness is obviously not responsible for. I can only suggest looking into alternatives other than fedex for shipping to Canada as I had to fight to get it to be shipped from the local FedEx center to my, mildly remote residence (contacted their Twitter support, called the center itself, literally had to fight to get them to ship it getting them to label it "a medical emergency" last night to finally get it today. Though I'm ecstatic to finally have and be using my H200. Love the company, just an unfortunate experience.
