My daughter is 12 and has worn an AFO on her left ankle due to mild hemiplegia (CP) for the majority of her life. We purchased the Bioness in June and she has never looked back. When on vacation and needed to walk long distances in the rain, she went back to her brace for the day and hated it. She’s gained muscle in a mostly unused calf, and she can buy the shoes she wants for the first time instead of having to find two sizes to fit her left and right foot. She keeps it charged, uses the app for controls, and marks her Taylor Swift calendar each time her electrodes need changing. Our insurance did not cover it and it was not cheap, but I would do it all over again to see her gain independence and strength she would never have with her brace. I hope insurance companies will re-examine their coverage of this life-changing and life-giving device. After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), I was able to purchase the L300 Go device. It has changed my life by restoring my ability to walk. My Bioness rep, Ian, has been incredibly resourceful and kind. The only constructive feedback is geared towards the affordability of the devices. Thankfully, a promotional discount made the device affordable. The technology is absolutely life changing. From my experience, it is superior to an AFO. It should be covered by insurance companies. There is no better device in the marketplace.

The people I worked with at Bioness were very professional and very helpful. The devices have really made a difference in my speed and confidence when I'm walking, and the Occupational Therapist who set them up for me has been available when I have questions.

I had been wearing a painful leg brace to help with footdrop issue. It would take me 10 minutes to get it on. After researching alternative options I made an email to Bioness. I was quickly answered and met with a specialist who suggested the l300 for footdrop and h200 for my hand issue. Everyone is so helpful and kind. 100% recommend

I love the device. It is working great. But the way I had to go about getting it is ridiculous. I first saw the rep in March, and still having gotten the billing correct. THe fact that My insurance company would cover it but not issue a prior auth (bad on them) but that you still made me pay $9600 out of pocket to get it is also ridiculous. Then, the courtesy bill that you sent to my insurance after i paid for it was sent to the wrong address. Maybe my insurance company is partially to blame, but the way you guys handle business has made things go very slow and like I said, still not resolved.

It is very painful and doesn't work as well when you use it at home. Its a total waste of money as I don't see it ever helping my leg to wake up or me to walk better. Its all a lie before you purchase it. They prey on your desperation to walk again. Its sad and I feel angry and bamboozled.
