I love the Biome Meal Replacement Shakes! My bowl movements have been more regular and more solid. My bloating has gone away and I'm not as hungry as I used to be. I just wish they had a variety package so I'm not drinking the same flavor everyday.

This company offered a great product that always came on time and provided a nutritious meal replacement shake that was consistent and provided weight loss as promised in company advertising

These shakes, especially the vanilla caramel, used to be amazing. I was losing weight and they also tasted good with a nice mouthfeel. But with the new formulation, whatever's been changed in the last several months, it is fairly terrible. I struggle to convince myself to drink it - the mouthfeel is very gross and viscous. When I reached out to customer service to express my opinion, the attitude was entirely blasé. I didn't feel taken seriously and I really miss drinking the old shakes every day.

I enjoy the chocolate shakes. There is no chalky taste. Ease of use. One scoop, water, a few ice cubes in a shaker bottle and I’m good to go.

Ok so here is my experience with Biome - I am on day 4. I purchased the chocolate option and the package came in 5 days (3 business days) from Denmark, so not too bad. The taste is super chalky, I'm not going to lie - however, for me being a vegetarian, the benefits of getting 40g of protein in one shake outweighs the taste for me. A good majority of the ingredients are also in my greens drink I take so it also has that added perk for me not to drink both. Due to the nutrients, I'm going to continue with this shake for a while and see how it goes. Surprisingly I did not have any stomach issues which was also a reason I will probably continue with it, as this is always a problem for me with protein shakes.

Great taste! It is packed with nutrients and keeps me full! This is my go to shake! Love it!

Update: (4) I finally was refunded for the masterpack that I threw away. I do understand that taste is subjective, but believe that satisfaction should be guaranteed for this type of product. Update: (3) I received my second shipment, which was late & I had been 8 days without. Tried the vanilla-caramel flavor, which for me was disgusting & undrinkable. Then I found out that they changed the formula of the chocolate & we're no longer using stevia, instead they are using the artificial sweetener, sucralose, which for me has a bad aftertaste. THEY DO NOT HAVE A SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. If you don't like the shakes you're out the money unless you have a COMPLETELY UNOPENED MASTERPACK that you want to return to Germany & pay shipping. I'm very extremely disappointed as the first pack of chocolate I got I did like & was drafting a very positive review about, but now I really don't feel like I could recommend the shakes. I'm going to continue drinking the chocolate until I find a suitable replacement. It's hard to find a true "meal replacement" that is healthy, affordable & checks all the boxes. In the meantime I'm going to try a trick that I read online. I ordered some organic cocoa & I'm going to add a teaspoon to my chocolate shake & see if that helps reduce the aftertaste from a sucralose. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 only due to the fact that they seemed to be trying to work with me & have sent a free package due to my shipping issues. If I find out I can't tolerate the aftertaste or find a better replacement I will be canceling. _____________________________ Update to 3 stars: (2) I was contacted & they are working with me to correct the shipping issue & doing everything they can to make sure I don't miss anymore days. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to pay every 3 weeks just to make sure I get them on time. I do appreciate that they are actively communicating with me & working on resolving the problem. I do want to continue with the shakes because I believe that they are a truly good meal replacement & will help me be healthier & lose weight. I have already lost 10lbs this year. I have a shake for breakfast & then 2 other meals around 400 calorie. Also, as needed I eat fresh fruit or a boiled egg as a snack. Very happy to be starting 2025 with positive changes. The shake definitely helps & is very affordable. ____________________________ (1) This review is only about customer service. First off they don't seem to know their product. I asked a question about not drinking it all at once & putting it in the refrigerator to finish later. I was given some answer about it separating & not tasting good so I should drink it all at once or just mix it half at a time. The proper answer I found from Google is that it contains digestive enzymes so should be consumed within 20 to 30 minutes of mixing with water since you're activating the digestive enzymes, which makes sense. Second issue, which is most frustrating, is shipping. They default you when you first sign up for every 2 weeks so I figured since I was trying it out to see if I liked it first that I would do that instead of getting 2 packages every 4 weeks. Shortly after I got it I realized that I wanted to go ahead & get it every 2 weeks so that I would save shipping charges because I decided I was going to commit to drinking it everyday for the year at least. I contacted them and they said that they would switch it because you don't seem to have a lot of control of things like that through the website. When it was getting close to when I was supposed to be receiving the second order I looked it up & saw that I wasn't supposed to get it until the end of the month, which would have been weeks after I ran out. I contacted somebody and they said that they fixed it, but the best they could do was have it delivered on the 18th of January, which would have only had me miss 2 days of shakes. Unfortunately, they were wrong in their statement to me. The second shipment was just shipped today on the 20th, so I've already missed 5 days of shakes. I'm probably going to miss at least another 2 or 3. I do see that she updated me to every 4 weeks, but it looks like they're going to be charging me & then shipping out at the 4 week mark, which means I possibly, most likely, am going to be missing days. I canceled my subscriptions for supplements because I started drinking the shake everyday, but now I'm not having my supplements, or the shakes, so my 2025 goal of being more healthy is jeopardized because of horrible customer service from this company. I'm incredibly frustrated because I did a lot of research & these are the shakes that I would like to be drinking everyday, but at this rate it looks like I'm going to be canceling & moving to another brand, which will be disappointing, but I believe that customer service is extremely important and they are seriously lacking in that area.

The vanilla caramel shake tastes like crap. Probably one of the worst things I’ve ever tasted. The return policy on this product is pretty much nonexistent. Once you have opened one of the inner bags or even the outer bag, they won’t accept a return so basically you’re stuck with it. Honestly, I’d rather be overweight than have to drink this meal replacement shake.
