I have ordered twice now and both were simple to install and worked as advertised.

The product and service are outstanding. Instructions for the installation very easy to fallow. We use both Carplay and Android Auto, they both work flawlessly.

I purchased a map update for my BMW and I was very pleased with the purchase process and how quickly I received the USB stick. The emails I got from BimmerTech were helpful - particularly because they said how long the update would take. All in all, a very good transaction - and updated maps.

I am an old school car stereo guy, and life long IT person also. New cars just don’t allow me to play like before. Enter my wifes M240i with the hifi crud stereo. i could no longer stand by. Did analysis paralysis, and in the end started with the Bimmertech amp. I did not want to go the route of cutting wires etc, so the plug and play aspect really appealed. What a difference just replacing the amp. Before, especially with the top down, you could barely hear anything. Now, nice and loud. I had some HK BMW speakers from my m2 sitting around, so threw those in and holy cow even better. Now the fun parts, being able to hook up my laptop and tune the car. The coolest part - to me - with a simple email to tech support, they also sent me several sound files to test and modify myself. I have been so happy with the product and the service, that I just ordered the subs for my wife, because she “needs them”!! i can’t wait to install and then change the bass settings in the app. Pros: easy to install, great sound for price, amazing service, ears can ring again in pain :) Cons: BMW didn’t do something this good for what the car cost - no con for Bimmertech!!!

About 1 1/2 years ago, I spent $2k to purchase and install Bimmer Tech's Vivid Screen, Smart View, and backup camera for my 2015 BMW 328i. Everything seemed fine until it wasn't. Within a year, the screen constantly reset itself to the point where the radio cut out and Bluetooth calls were dropped. I originally thought it was the head unit but ultimately discovered that the screen was the problem. Eventually, the dealer had to bring everything back to original spec. While I did approach Bimmer Tech after the 1 year warranty expired, I had been dealing with the issue long before it had. In the end, after spending close to $3k, I have nothing to show, and all Bimmer Tech could do is offer me 10% off a future purchase. While they are responsive, my experience with their product and their willingness to offer a meaningful resolution were horribly disappointing.

I bought a reversing camera for my 2010 BMW 520d F11 and being as I like in the UK it only took a few days to arrive. Fitting was real easy when the instructions were used in conjunction with the online video. Any questions I asked were promptly answered via the online support. Whist fitting the kit I noticed that the rear boot switch that was supplied in the kit was different to that fitted to my car. The issue was quickly resolved and found to be due to my car being made during the facelift and the correct part was sent from the US tot he UK with no extra charge and I was able to complete the fitting the next weekend. Great service, great quality parts and now having the addition of a reversing camera on such a big car has helped.
