I highly recommend Bimmer Tech for their awesome line of products. I purchased an upgrade for my daughters 2015 BMW 328i car that we bought for her 17th birthday. With the Apple Car play upgrade and the Rear camera upgrade her car is now up to date with the current features found on newer models. I am highly impressed on how easy the products work and how the comparability was spot on. We have no issues whatsoever and the installation process was done in a few hours. You will not regret doing business with Bimmer Tech. They’re products are high quality and their customer service is top notch. So, get on to their website and look at what they have to offer for your next upgrade! Thank you Bimmer Tech for making this purchase a rewarding one for my daughters special day!

I got the USB map upgrade. The upgrade went smooth, and the instructions were clear. I have to admit that I didn’t expect the update to take so long. But fortunately I followed the instructions and had the car running.

5 star ***** in customer service, product quality, introduction guide and overall! Thanks, David

They send a used BMW screen ($700), not refurbished as they claim. the mmi does not work as advertised plus you can buy the same EXACT mmi unit online for less than $300, a total rip-off from Bimmertech. I am returning both units; mmi and 8.8"used screen for my money back - for $1,300 I expected much more.

Satisfied with my purchase I recommend if ur getting an upgrade this is the one to upgrade to..... its amazing what this product can bring out in ur audio system... i will be buying another one for my other bmw 535.. can't believe I went without this upgrade before its worth the money

Quick and easy map update. no hassle, clear instructions. Well done.

Absolute piece of crap. i get better results from a $60 amazon backup camera. $700 and it doesn't work, customer is here waiting and there is no technical service available form bimmertech. instructions do not even match the car i have, even though bimmertech was supplied with the VIN. Customer chat is unhelpful and full of lies and excuses and has no technical knowledge whatsoever. Now i see why it sells from Dubai, they are so shady, the USA wont let them in.

Just a few words on the latest CIC MMI Prime that I purchased for my Z4 E89 35i. I did some research on various carplay systems on offer but all came with fixed screens, which meant the pop up function of the existing screen in the vehicle would not be available. I wanted to keep my Z4 as original as possible and when this new CIC MMI Prime for the E series became available I jumped at the chance because it not only retained the original menu CIC system but it could switch to the carplay system with the use of the iDrive controller. Fitting the unit was a bit tricky at first as I could not fit the box behind the CIC but this was resolved when I placed it under the passenger compartment behind the footwell. Since purchasing the MMI Prime I haven’t been disappointed, all the functions are easy to use and once you have paired your iPhone wirelessly, the car recognises your phone every time you enter the vehicle. Siri works great as does the screen mirroring option and the clarity of the screen in colour certainly gives the car that up to date appeal. If you are looking at a carplay system while retaining the original dash then this is a great option. James Hedger (Malaysia)
