I recently purchased the CarPlay unlock for the iDrive system in my BMW. The transaction was great and the installation was made simple due to the easy to follow instructions. The provided printed directions and YouTube videos made upgrading the iDrive system easy for even a novice like myself. Customer service was also great answering all of my questions along the way. Highly recommended.

I purchase the Map update for the 328i. The package came earlier than promised, which was a wonderful surprise. The instructions were easy to follow, however the Map upload was taking a lot of time to complete and I had to stop midway. When I went back to do the upload later, it did not work. I contacted tech support at BimmerTech and was helped by Jake. He provided excellent timely support to resolve the issue. The usb had gone bad and Jake provided me with a couple of options. Subsequently, I was able to complete the Map update with no issues. I am very pleased with the product and the excellent tech support from BimmerTech. I will definitely look to BimmerTech for any future needs. I highly recommend BimmerTech.

I bought both the Android Auto MMI Prime Retrofit and the 2021 Map Update from Bimmer-Tech. The Android Auto interface works seamlessly with iDrive. The Map Update is important, yet BMW neither advertises nor reminds you that it is available. Additionally, I called tech support a couple of times and found them to be responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. Bimmer Tech starts where BMW leaves off.

I recently bought a BMW X5, and learned that I needed to activate my SiriusXM receiver. Research indicated a trip to the dealer, and a fee of several hundred dollars. The same Google search took me to the BimmerTech site, where I learned that I could accomplish the same task from home via the USP port in the car, and for about half the cost! I placed my order, and in a couple of days I received an activation file, and was up and running in minutes. It was truly easy. The experience prompted me to purchase several other features from BimmerTech. These were installed via a similar USB-based process, and in two cases a remote coding session with a BimmerTech engineer. The latter process takes a little longer, but is still easy. This is a quality company with well-defined processes. If you own a BMW and haven't visited BimmerTech, you are missing out!

Did masses of research regarding SLI for my 2019 BMW, other than cheap Chinese purchases all I could find was Bimmer Tech, and i'm glad I did. Items received within 3 days for UAE to UK. Installed item using guides, was initially worried but went very well. Booked a coding appointment for the next day and everything was completed withing 15 minutes. All done without a hitch and very professionally. Will be looking to have a couple of other items coded in soon.

Really really poor. I had a really bad experience and feel completely cheated out of my expensive purchase. The customer service is brilliant pre-purchase but afterwards I was told that my consumer rights are not valid as their head office is in UAE. Really really bad and beware. Don’t use them, there are a lot more companies out there who have helped me after this horrific experience with such an awful team.

The guys from technical support were amazing. I had some issues installing my new upgrade but luckily someone from the chat support helped me throug it from A to Z. After a few months i encountered a problem as someone broke into my BMW and stole my software. I had to reinstall everything again. Kristina saved me with a great solution. One thing is certain they deserve a 5+ star review. Thanks guys.

I purchased the Bimmertech upgraded stereo amp coded and tuned for my BMW convertible as a Christmas gift to myself. I had already upgraded my factory speakers which was an improvement and some said that changing the factory amp wouldn't make much difference. It did! The clarity of the sound is greatly improved especially in the high and mid range. The imaging is noticeably better and now reminds me of my audiophile stereo at home. I'm hearing details in the music that weren't showing up before. The overall presence, depth and power of the sound is also improved without sounding boomy or overdriven which is important when the convertible top is down. Being busy with work I chose to have the amp installed at a Bimmertech independent BMW shop here in Denver and the installation went perfectly and easily. Cheers, Cary
