I have been using Bigcommerce for two years now and all I can tell is that the system itself is stable (no bugs) but the system is very poor in functionalities. Heres why; - If you upgrade to PRO you can get 12 product filters (who has only 12 product attributes?) - No language switcher - Bad product bulk editor - Bad product search tool - Bigcommerce helpdesk is terrible - Marketing channels not working properly Its good for really small businesses. But if you want more functionalities choose Woocommerce or Shopify.

This morning I wake and that website take 121$ from my account.I cancel my account whit them since 2019 they still have my account information and trying to take money out on it. Now I call my bank and I will try to report them I close my bank account because of you guys, I have this account since 2016 and now I don't have no choice to close it because the bank tell that you guys have my account number and can charge me when you want

I would not recommend using them, especially if you are a business just beginning. I just cancelled today (for multiple reasons) but was charged yesterday for the month of February. I politely asked for a refund since I'm canceling and I was told "per policies" they don't refund even if you cancel. That is not how you treat customers on your platform. The templates options are mediocre and way over priced! You can't do much customization and you don't have many relevant features for the $29.99 plan. I will be disputing my charge because that is immoral.

I had a Big Commerce store for 12 years had many problems they got the best tech guys but if they can't fix it and it goes to ter 2 you never get any help. For the last year my live time shipping quotes keeps stopping and I loose sales. When I call tech they tell me to put my password in again. Mind you I have had to do about times I know how to do that I didn't need to sit on hold to be told to do that I wanted them to fix it. The last time tech guy couldn't get it to take on google, or edge then we went to firefox it took about three hours. Then i wake up to find it wasn't working again and I lost sales over night because my site couldn't give my customers a shipping price. They wanted to up grade to a 50.00 a month shipping app but my company is a drop shipping co. so that just dumb. I have since left and since found out what was going on Big Commerce uses Endica for real time shipping quotes somehow my site was bouncing off different host or something so Endica kept thinking my site was getting hack so they would lock down my account. I was working with Endica for the problem for the year and they couldn't get it fixed either then they put me on a white list and then fixed. I did get upset I did gt loud with tech I was just sick of fixing the same thing over and over. So they canceled my 12 year old store my only income. Don't do Big Commerce

I am currently using it and find SERIOUS flaws with this. First of all, the WYSIWYG looks like something from my college days. You start to accept that and then you get to trying to build the website. You CANNOT do the following: 1) Add a logo to the footer 2) Change the footer so that the pages in your navigation such as Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, etc. do not end up in the header but strictly in the footer. 3) You CANNOT customize the footer navigation in any shape, form or fashion. I'm sorry but this is the year 2020. When was the last time you saw a website, including yours that had Privacy Policy, Shipping and Returns, Terms and Conditions in the header? When? This is a MAJOR flaw and it is one they REFUSE to fix. I went searching through their idea section and saw that it has been asked since 2016 and we are NOW in 2021 damn near.

I have had so many problems with my Big Commerce site. The tech teams are always available to chat and are quite helpful but it doesn’t stop the problems. They’re constantly asking for more examples and screenshots from my customers saying they can’t find the error so they need more examples. I’ve given them so many examples but my customers either don’t know how to take a screenshot or they don’t want to be going back and forth over it, all they want is to buy a sewing pattern, not have in depth technical discussions with me and Big Commerce. I’ve lost hundreds of sales because customers can’t proceed through the checkout because their zip code is “invalid”. And on three separate occasions my SSL security certificate has vanished - the first time I hear of it is when I see someone asking on a Facebook group why my site is coming up saying it’s unsecured and people may be trying to steal their private information. This is hugely damaging to my reputation and has resulted in loads of lost sales. Needless to say I’m totally fed up of it and the damage it’s done to my site. As I sell digital e-books I don’t have a lot of options for hosting my site so I’m stuck with either them or Etsy and right now I’m seriously considering going back to Etsy despite their extortionate fees.

BigCommerce has met NONE of my expectations and all I’ve asked for is basic functionality. They constantly steer me toward expensive apps that do not integrate seamlessly. Every app I’ve installed has caused a problem with another app or the native functionality of the platform. Simple desires have been turned into nightmares and BigCommerce has offered no support. They also refuse to assign us an account manager even though we’re an enterprise customer. I beg you, DO NOT sign up for one of their plans. You will regret it.

I am truly madly deeply in love with BigCommerce's e-Commerce platform! I run an online children's hair accessories business Bitty Bows Boutique and have been with BC for going on 3 years now. We were at 3DCart before which was the worst company I've ever worked with. X-Cart before that. BC has broad features available but also make it easy to make customizations. They keep their customers happy and don't nickle and dime like other companies. The product provides a fast reliable website and the associated apps actually work. Also truly madly deeply in love with Klaviyo which is integrated and utiliizes top technology. I feel like they are a forever solution for my store! Definitely recommend!
