overall satisfied with this platform

I started my website with bigcommerce in 2021 I didn't want to pay anyone to build my online boutique. So first off self taught it was a little frustrating but I can say that I enjoy bigcommerce themes because I can customize them in a lot of ways. Downfall is that their aren't many free themes but you can tweak them a bit though. I had left Bigcommerce because I do not have a filter option with my plan it's only for the $300 plan. However i really loved my site it wasn't a cookie cutter look like shopify. I hate shopify it's so basic and simple like everyone else's theme like I can spot a shopify store when entering a site. I am back with Bigcommerce after 1.5yrs because I miss how my website was looking so high-rnd because I took the time to teach myself and put in the work. Now I never had a customer service issue with them compared to shopify but again that was back in 2021 so we shall See.

Could give you 5 stars but still needs improvement. Too many novice people on first level support. Otherwise, expert people.

Big commerce in paying. But it is important to not withdrawal only the bonus. I withdraw twice...and i received my money.

We run our store on BigCommerce. It offers a good experience in general. It is pricey once they start charging for extra orders etc. Support generally is good via chat, the ticket system is also ok. Features are not the best, Shopify for instance seems to have more and also has more and better apps. No subscription feature to use, even the apps available to offer subscriptions aren't great. Have considered moving to Shopify and may well do in the future.

Tried out the trial and so far so good. I don't know if this platform is easier than shopify as I have 3 stores with them but I do like the fact that they are cheaper and supposedly have an easier way with partnerships to sell difficult items such as CBD. So we'll see but so far so good.

Bigcommerce is an excellent platform to launch your first store. They have all the selling tools needed to succeed. Their customer service is outstanding. When you grow, however, you need additional tools and apps that are limited or not easily available. They seem to be a bit slow at improving or updating features needed for today's eCommerce demands. Overall, it is a great platform to start an online business.
