I believe that this program is truly needed. My own experience was extremely healing. It actually saved my life after moving forward from past trauma sexual abuse and recently cancer. I was extremely impressed with the entire system. There is a huge focus on identifying needs doing preparatory homework before the sessions. I went from having 6 months of panic attacks of increasing intensity to being cured within a few sessions. I went to the entire 9 session experience and friends and colleagues have all mentioned how much happier and productive I have been. I can't believe the positive changes That occurred in just a single month of intense therapy. The therapy is self paced. There are easy to access videos and great readings. Please if you want to be successful do the homework it is worth it.

After 6 months of following the guidance of my care coordinators and Dr. I am experiencing true relief from the my depression. The Ketamine enabled me to think outside of my depression. The releif was real, not like a drug that just numbed my feelings, and I became aware of my ability to think and experience my life in ways that did not lead to depression. From the very first session, I felt welcomed and supported by the knowledgeable and compassionate people on the calls/zooms. They took the time to understand my unique challenges and tailored the treatment to address both my depression and pain simultaneously. Throughout the sessions, I found myself in a serene “journey” that allowed me to relax take like a mental vacation. The self-administration was done with 1on1 treatment preparation ensuring my safety and comfort throughout the process (I was nervous) After completing the sessions, I noticed a remarkable improvement in my mood and overall sense of well-being. I completed eight sessions in about five weeks starting in May of this year. The product or medicine is great quality and the music playlists provided are awesome. I was determined to be a candidate and was told that I would receive an email with shipping information within a week. A week went by and I had not heard anything. So I followed up with them and they said it's a different company that ships the meds, citing they had no control over that. No big deal at all. In preparing for my first session, I'm looking all through the app and downloading the play list and asked to journal, answer contemplative questions for each session regarding goals, feelings, intentions, etc. I found it cumbersome and hard to follow. There was no structure, no guidance. You just have to figure it out as you go. Well, I am a very thorough person and get frazzled easily when things are made way more complicated than they need to be. So, I didn't understand basic things. I went on with a few treatments, not realizing that I wasn't getting the full program I paid for. I was lost. One of my advisers told me the app wasn't the best format or useful tool and I should work from the web portal. After a few sessions, I get a long email from the same person setting me up for my first session. I thought I did something wrong. I had already completed three sessions and she was just now sending me details about the first one? Uh oh. I contacted her. Oh, those are automated, she said. The system doesn't know what session you are on. A week later, after my 5th session, I was sent an email with tons of great info for the second session. But, it was automated. So it was not timely. I really would have benefited from this if it had been sent to me when I needed it. Some time later I received about 10 alerts stating that different people sent me messages and promoted me to sign in and read the messages. The time wasted and frustration I experienced trying to open each message was unbelievable. None would open. I tried the app, the portal, reinstalling the app, racking my brain and wondering how I made it this far and couldn't even manage a simple task like figuring out how to read a message. I thought the problem was me. Nope! It turns out that I should disregard those messages. They were just testing a feature. And they apologized for the confusion. This wasn't explained to me until I contacted them and provided screenshots and asked for help. It would have been appreciated if they would have contacted those effected when they realized what was going on. But they didn't do that. Around that same time, I saw an ad for BetterU on Facebook. Under the comments, I said something like "I searched a while before choosing BetterU. And I'm glad I went with them!" Within a day, I had a message of gratitude sent from one of their co-founders. He reached out and said thank you for the kind words on FB. He added that they were putting something "special" together for me and it would be mailed out on July 6. I never received anything or any updates so I messaged him in the portal to let him know. Three days have passed and I have not received a response from him or anyone on his behalf. I've written lots of nice things about companies that I've dealt with and I've never had one of them want to send me a thank you gift. He set the expectation that I was to receive something. That was uncalled for and in my opinion quite rude for him to blow me off after following up with him a few weeks after the fact. I'm still puzzled as to why he would promise something that he never delivered, and maybe never even intended to deliver. After all the other experiences and all the other excuses, this single incident fits right in. So I should not have given it a second thought. In summary, the program itself is great, as is the medicine, the music playlists for your sessions, the price, the benefit/value of treatment. However, they have excuses for everything and left me with feelings of frustration, confusion and at times regret. The implementation of their systems lacks logic, follow through, reason and a clear understanding of what the patient experiences outside the medicine itself. I would like to continue my ketamine therapy but it is not a given that I will choose this company for that. UPDATE: Just over one hour after trustpilot approved and posted my review, I received an email from the co-founder I mentioned above. He never said anything to reflect accountability or responsibility or even an understanding of my feedback. He just provided excuses, followed by a wordy rant about how he has poured himself into this program and has worked with top doctors from Stanford/Johns Hopkins and he stressed the importance of this therapy. No sign of his overinflated ego hearing my criticisms, no matter how they're packaged. Just more excuses. Bumping down to 1*.

I was really hopeful and excited to change my brain before I loose everything I have. I had to wait forever for the consultation and now they won't call in the script or respond to my calls and texts. If they decide you are untreatable, they will not tell you. They will just ghost you forever, wasting precious time you could have found relief/healed already had you gone elsewhere. These are the rudest, most uncompassionate people I have ever dealt with.
