We take all feedback seriously and are fully committed to providing the highest standards of care for our patients. However, the claims made in this review are not an accurate reflection of our services, protocols, or mission. To provide clarity, Better U prescribes only very limited amounts of medication, and all dosage/protocols are overseen by licensed medical providers who assess each patient’s individual needs. The cost of our services includes much more than just the medication itself. It also covers monthly licensed psychiatric care, required treatment preparation sessions, and mandatory integration sessions. We believe that ketamine therapy works best when paired with comprehensive mental health support, which is why our program includes therapy, integration coaching, and regular check-ins to ensure patients feel supported throughout their healing journey. Counseling and integration support are central to what we do because we believe that addressing mental health requires a thoughtful and holistic approach. Additionally, we want to clarify that our clinicians have never prescribed or sent packets containing 30 tablets of medication. The items included in our Brain Box are not "swag" or unnecessary extras; they are carefully selected tools that play an essential role in our therapeutic process. For example, the blood pressure cuff ensures that patients can monitor their vitals for safety during treatment, while the journal and pen are integral to integration work (before and after each session), allowing patients to reflect on their experiences and gain deeper insights and following prompts for the structured sessions the Better U app. The meditation mask is required to wear during each session and heart diffraction glasses are designed to enhance the therapeutic experience - for the days in between sessions, if a patient is having a difficult time, the glasses are meant to be worn for about 60 seconds and to look around at different light sources, as a reminder that life is all about perspective (to focus on the love). Each item is included with intention and supports the holistic nature of our program. Our pricing reflects not only the medication but also the wraparound care/services that we provide. This includes access to licensed clinicians, therapists, certified integration coaching, ongoing support through our app, and resources to help patients maximize their outcomes. Unlike other providers that may focus solely on delivering medication, Better U emphasizes a complete care model that addresses mental health from multiple angles.
