I visited and received treatment; that portion was 5-Star; however, when I was instructed to go to the ER the same night I didn't expect to receive the same treatment that BetterMed Urgent Car provided. Then I was even more shocked when I received a bill from MCV-VCU for my portion of the bill for $950!!! For the same treatment; no way. I plan to appeal this billing with my insurance company. Evidently they have summized that it was not an emergency referral. I thought I was being referred because my eye was at risk of further damage. Evidently, not. It's sad that now in the future I will have to guess whether I truly need to be observed by another emergency care facility.

First time in. Check in was quick and professional. In and out in 30 minutes or so. Staff member was wiping surfaces down in between patient intake which was nice to see.

Charged me twice

My experiences with BetterMed Urgent Care facilities and staffs have all been very good - I am taken seriously and treated respectfully, staff are confident and behave graciously/professionally.

The plank road location is where my family and I go when we need emergency help. I recommend it to anyone that needs to go to urgent care. From the receptionist to the physicians, they are the best. The physicians take their time to take care of you . They are awesome 👍🏽. They even call you the next day to see how you are doing. God bless you all for your smiles and care.

Did not diagnose me correctly. I had to go back. They tried to charge me another specialty co-pay of $40. Fast service for a reason.

Exceptional care, knowledgeable staff, great customer service. They really helped me by digging deeper and doing bloodwork and guided me on next steps.
