I was better off going to the hospital. This place was a waste of money and they have the nerve to be classified as a specialist.

The doctor (NP) and the nurses were all wonderful. I usually hate urgent care facilities but BetterMed in Short Pump is awesome. Note: Try to make your appointment online so you go straight in.

I arrived around 7:30 at the Short Pump location, not realizing they closed at 8. I was seen right away and received comprehensive and high quality care including relevant instruction even though it went past their closing time. The NP was excellent--patient and very professional and knowledgeable. I really appreciate how she listened and involved me in my own care including options for next steps if my problem continued. I would gladly go here again without hesitation. It was a wonderful experience with high quality care, attention to detail, and true concern for my well-being.

I had to wait a while despite the waiting room being empty. After I explained my symptoms the only test they did was strep. My symptoms got worse after my visit and I think I may have had a sinus infection that they didn't catch or treat.
