The best place to go when something is wrong
I've been going to Better Med for years. I've even taken my mom there 3 times. They're incredible, from the front desk folks, nurses, PAs and docs! Thorough, kind, fast, and accurate. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you Better Med for always looking after me and my family.

Appreciated the quick scheduling and attention.
I was seen for unexplained and sudden throat swelling. I got in pretty quickly after trying to just wait out the pain I was having. It was a Sunday as well so I was appreciative to get help early Sunday morning and not have to go to the ER or just continue waiting it out. I got the the antibiotic I needed to start treatment. In order to diminish my pain I still had to go to my primary which is fine. Ultimately I never found out what was wrong with me. I was told by my primary to know I would have had to gone to a specialist and the treatment wouldn't change, so I think this location proceeded appropriately. The only thing additional I got from my primary was a high dose steroid and topical numbing agent which helped the pain. I saw a PA at BetterMed, and I don't know if that affected the provider's decision and comfort with deciding not give that to me or if it was the fact that I just wasn't a regular patient. The PA asked me to follow up with my primary which I did the next day so not that big of a deal. The only real thing I think that could have been improved was follow up on tests results. I got tested for strep which came back negative, but I had to ask a few times a few days later as it was not showing in my portal. Not that big of a deal again as the PA said the presentation in my throat was not strep, the test results indicated it wasn't strep, and my primary, primary's office said it was not strep.
