Eliza
Not great customer service
When first wondering how the ordering takes place I called to ask about the process. I didn't get the feedback I needed to report back to my manager . When I emailed to place an order I had to email again a week later because I never received a response (he says he got the email, but never looked at it and responded with a wrong estimate) meanwhile we are in a rush to get the order in. It took him 1 week for every response to my emails and even after telling him my deadline (which he said will meet) I still received my order 2 weeks late. I sent about 2-3 emails to confirm the order had been shipped after I was finally able to confirm the correct estimate and nothing... I received what I wanted in the end, but it was a pain to be sure I would have the correct order in time.
Response from Better Bidders Inc.May 6, 2015
Wow. I guess I beg to differ. Let's make things perfectly clear here: 1. 1 initial call was made to us by customer on 2-25 (never another call... just email correspondence from that point forward) 2. The next day, on 2-26 sent over formal estimate which included a rush charge as production time was less than 2 weeks and March is our busiest time. Nothing unusual there 3. Same day, sent over order confirmation via email as we always do, having received credit card details. Their event date is 3-10. Original production schedule anticipated shipping overnight to be received Friday 3-6. 4. Printer issues caused us to be down for 2 days, 3-5 and 3-6. Communicated with them of this fact on 3-6 after fixing our printer issue. 5. Shipped paddles out on Saturday 3-7 for delivery on 3-9 (Monday). 6. Fedex had delays due to storms in the NE United States 3-7 thru 3-9 and resulted in NO shipping update information being available as late as 3-9, the day they were to be delivered. Knowing this, and not knowing if FedEx was going to actually deliver the package on 3-9, I called and offered to REPRODUCE their order at NO CHARGE and ship this duplicate order to them overnight again to be received 3-10. I did reproduce the order and I did ship overnight again. Both orders (*of course*) were delivered on 3-10, in time for their event. If that is not customer service I don't know what is. We always make every effort that is possible to ensure our customers have their paddles for their event, regardless of when orders were placed, or regardless of FedEx delays, or temporary equipment issues that cause production headaches for us. We just make it happen. All correspondence was friendly with this customer and they were grateful for our extra effort. Perhaps "Eliza" (not her real name) was just having a bad day.
