No problem from start to finish. Louise emailed all the relevant info. I read it, did what it said. I sent test 1 day earlier, but that was a Sunday, and from the Highlands to Leicester; so they dont get it til Tuesday, my flight on Thursday... Result? Tuesday night! Some of the reviews on here need to get real. All the info is supplied, the Royal Mail are busy right now as unusual as that may be at Christmas! If you pay 145 your test result is 48hrs, pay the extra! And think about using a courier if it's urgent that you get to Spain on holiday during another lockdown!!!

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE! I have paid £145.0 for a PCR test and because Royal Mail didn't scan the kit, this caused 6 days of delay and £350.0 consequential loss for myself (change of flight, hotel and new PCR). Better2Know is blaming Royal Mail and Royal Mail is blaming Better2Know. I have gone through various routes to try and get a claim for the stolen money (because they are stolen) but I can confirm to all you that unfortunately both Better2Know and Royal Mail are covered by their policy. Please all be aware that this incompetent business called Better2Know is: - Offering Covid-19 test results for flights knowing that the reason for the purchase is a 24 to 72 hours window, but acting like it's a surprise that their customers have urgent enquiries. How many reviews should you see with delays and financial loss for your customers to do something to improve your service since you claim being certified to International Quality Standard ISO 9001:2015? - is investing a ridiculously small amount of money to their supplier (in this scenario Royal Mail) without letting their customers know about the real risks of the service. They purchase the Royal Mail Tracked 24 for both standard and priority kits, which costs only £5 and is not a guarantee of next day delivery but an aim. TO ALL YOU OUT THERE, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ROYAL MAIL TRACKED 24 (or 48) doesn't include consequential loss and Royal Mail is covered by its policy that only after 10 working days of the target delivery date can the kit be reported as missing. ONLY SPECIAL DELIVERY GUARANTEED (~£20) includes the consequential loss and the guarantee for 24hrs. So, Better2Know know very well to blame Royal Mail, since they know that the product they purchased on our behalf does not cover us as customer and its the cheapest option for them. They cut from quality to profit themselves as much as they can. Besides its easier to invest one-off money to a solicitor to write the T&Cs that get you out of trouble rather than continuously improve your quality. - will send your results after you missed the flight, even though will be useless for the customer, in order for us not to be able to dispute with our bank the transaction as "product/service not delivered". They don't care about the delay since they are covered by their T&C's/ Personally, I have lost £350 and I have exhausted every possible way to get at least some of them back with no luck: Incompetent Better2Know are covered from their T&Cs for the 6 days-delay, even though they misled me and too-giant-of-a-business-to-care-about-next-door-people Royal Mail are well prepared to end my expectations since everything is arranged to prevent any blame going towards them. The least thing I could do is if someone read this review and be well prepared and prevent the same financial (and believe me mental!) loss.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Paid £145 for a PCR Fit to Fly certificate. Posted it using the pre-paid Tracked 24 hour delivery envelope on the date that Better2Know advised sending it on. 4 days later and the swab has still not arrived at the lab and is stuck in Bristol. Neither Royal Mail nor Better2Know accept responsibility, so basically it's the customer who loses out. Now cannot catch my flight and will lose that money plus the cost of the kit even though they are not going to test the swab now. Point blank refused to even issue a partial refund. EDIT B2K have left a reply and I'd like to state that the priority service is from when swabs reach the lab, if the swab doesn't arrive they won't be testing for anything. I phoned before purchasing to have peace of mind of the dates and timing. I also called the same afternoon before posting the swab. Not once did B2K advise that it would be better to send the swab using a courier.

Dear Wendy, we do understand your frustrations, however we cannot control where and when you post the sample or Royal Mails service. We do advise using a courier (this is clearly stated in the sample collection instructions) and the priority service for flights for just this reason.
