Update 8/20/2025: Best Move claims below are lies, if they would like I can paste the email trail. We have been trying to get them to respond to us for weeks. At this point I believe they are ducking us to get out of the claim window. They refuse to provide the received bill of lading which is required by federal law and needed to file a claim. We will be contacting the AG’s office in FL since we are both residents of FL. Best move insists, they are willing to help but in fact are silent.
Bestmove - you don’t get to Trash all of our items and then go silent. Respond in writing to my emails and give me the BOL THAT I SIGNED/marked up, and other info on you subcontractors so we can move forward. Had we known you were going to subcontract the entirety of this move out, transfer everything out of the moving truck, we would of never hired your company. None of that was ever disclosed to us. Respond in writing ASAP.
If you - or anyone you know is moving, Please, stay clear of a moving company called Best Move Relocation. Our things were packed neatly and wrapped when they left MA, were transferred out of the original truck to another truck in NJ, left in the rain at some point for an extended amount of time, everything inside the boxes was trashed, missing, or broken when they arrived in FL. We have a full library of photos available on facebook for anyone interested. This site will not let me post a link or photos unfortunately.
Garbage Company with no interest in answering communications now that the check has cleared. They also function as only a broker, so you get whoever moving your things - not this company

Dear Raymond,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your concerns and would like to take this opportunity to clarify a few important points.
Please note that the pickup and delivery are handled by separate teams. After the pickup is completed, the driver transports the items to the warehouse, where they are unloaded. From there, a different driver is assigned to load and deliver the shipment to the final destination. This is a standard logistical process within the industry.
Regarding the condition of your items, any damages must be reported directly to our office so that we can provide you with the proper claim form and initiate the claims process. We have thoroughly checked all our phone lines and did not find any missed calls from you. Additionally, our customer service team made multiple attempts to reach you but did not receive any return calls.
We are here to assist you and encourage you to contact our office so we can help resolve the matter appropriately.

Run as fast can!!
Do you like to be told your things will be delivered to you in 2-5 days only for them some of your things to arrive to you 4 weeks later? If so, this company is for you. Do you like to told your estimate is for 3/4 of a 26' box truck only to be charged an extra $1k at pick up for taking up more space, even though when they finally do arrive the truck is only 1/2 way loaded? If so, this company is for you. Do you like to be reassured that your things will be covered up to $10k in included insurance only to find out they only pay $0.60 per pound per item? If so, this company is for you. Do you like to be ghosted and not have your emails, texts or phone calls returned when they have every single thing that you own in their possession? If so, this company is for you. Do you like to be put under significant added stress while moving and at times think you've lost everything you own? If so, this company is definitely for you. Do you like to be lied to over and over and over again? If so, this company is for you.
Check out all of the fake reviews boosting their ratings. I wish I had! It would take a lot less effort and energy to run a legit company and do right by their customers instead of focusing on writing fake reviews. Pay attention to the 1-star reviews, they are telling the truth. Run as fast as you can away from this company and save yourself a lot of grief and heartache.

Dear Nicole,
We are sorry to hear that your experience with our company did not meet your expectations. At Best Move Relocation, we take all feedback seriously and strive to provide clarity and transparency to every customer.
We would like to address several concerns raised in your review:
Delivery timeframe: As outlined in your signed contract, the estimated delivery window is up to 12 business days from the first available delivery date (FADD). In accordance with DOT regulations, all long-distance deliveries must be completed within 21 business days from the FADD. While we always strive to deliver as quickly as possible, unforeseen factors such as route optimization, weather, and logistics may impact delivery timing. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused.
Truck Space and Charges: The initial estimate is based on the inventory and volume provided by the customer during the booking process. Upon pickup, our team conducts a physical assessment. If the actual space exceeds the original estimate, a revised charge is applied, in accordance with industry standards and the terms outlined in your agreement. We assure you that your belongings were transported safely and efficiently, and any perceived underutilization of the truck space does not reflect the volume they occupied at pickup, especially considering the stacking limitations and the need to secure all items safely.
Valuation Coverage: We understand the frustration regarding insurance coverage. The standard coverage of $0.60 per pound per article is mandated by federal regulation for long-distance moving and is outlined in the contract you signed. We always encourage customers to consider purchasing third-party full-value protection for more comprehensive coverage, which was offered during booking.
Delivery Incident: Upon arrival at your home for delivery, we were met with challenges unrelated to the moving process itself. Although payment methods were outlined in the contract and communicated in advance, you attempted to pay with a personal check, which is not an accepted method. Our team explained this, and when payment was initially withheld, we could not legally proceed with unloading. We were placed in a highly stressful situation as multiple neighbors began intervening, some aggressively and disrespectfully. We acted professionally and remained calm under pressure. Law enforcement was even involved due to the escalation.
While we understand that moving is a stressful time, we do our best to provide professional service under sometimes difficult circumstances. We do not condone false reviews or misleading practices and stand by the integrity of our business and the authenticity of our satisfied customers’ experiences.
We are genuinely sorry that your move did not go as smoothly as expected. If you wish to further discuss your experience or file a formal claim, we would be happy to assist through the appropriate channels.

Do not use this company!!! Would give negative stars if able.
Rebuttal to company response: Per the BestMove Relocation, LLC contract:
IMPORTANT - IF YOU ADD ITEMS AT PICK-UP OR IF THE ITEMS ARE A DIFFERENT VOLUME AND/OR WEIGHT FROM WHAT IS ESTIMATED ON THIS AGREEMENT:
1. The mover has to provide you with a revised estimate.
2. You must agree in writing to the new estimate.
3. If you have not signed the mover's revised estimate, and the mover loads the truck, then federal regulation requires that the mover has reaffirmed the original estimate and cannot demand additional payment at delivery for the additional items.
I was never given a new written estimate until they were done with everything. And that wasn’t an estimate, but a final bill. So dishonest. I have timestamped screenshots and messages to prove you all are lying!
At no point did the mover indicate the move would cost more than the final estimate. They began loading.About 7 hours later, they had loaded all of the contents of our house and had the garage left.At that point, after 2/3 of our stuff on the truck, the ‘foreman’ asked ‘is there anything in the garage you would like to leave behind?’.He said that we reached estimate amount and verbally stated that it would be an additional $2200-$2500 to take the remaining contents.I was completely taken aback because there was no indication that the cost would be more than originally estimated up to that point. Also, they had been there longer than we had anticipated and it was getting late in the evening (we had to have everything taken care of that night).I told them to start loading while I called Best Move.Richard asked me what the cubic feet was on Bill of Lading. It was then I realized they never wrote a measurement. He advised that he would request an audit and they ‘wouldn’t let anyone screw us’.Also advised to let them continue loading and that they would work it out.I then received a call from a ‘dispatcher’.I explained to Diana that the process I was told would occur (if upon visual inspection the cost would increase I would be given a new total) did not happen and that they already had most of our stuff loaded when they came to us.She said she would speak with them (I told her they were still there) so she asked if I would give them my phone. They talked for a while in Russian and then he returned my phone and said she would call me back.I was given a final bill (after everything was loaded) totaling $10,901.00.It was almost 7 p.m. and all my stuff was on the truck.Richard had advised me to pay the first half while they completed the audit, etc.,and if the final total was reduced, amount due at delivery would be less.I did as advised.Diana called after the movers left, and all she did was basically say ‘I apologize’ but it is what it is.Finally, she stated she would work on a discount.I called and texted Richard several times the following week;I got no response. The day of delivery he answered. Said he would escalate to Diana. The mover arrived and demanded payment right away.Told him I was waiting on Diana for a call back because per contract I was not provided a written revised estimate prior to loading,so my original estimate stands. He grabbed his keys and said he was leaving. He then said he would give me a discount of $500.Diana called and I explained the contract issue. She again advised to pay him and any overage would be refunded. They did not unwrap some furniture.Several items were damaged.Missing a few items.Left a pile of trash in my yard.I filed a claim for damaged items, still have not heard anything (even though required by law).Diana advised that the $500 discount was considered contract negotiation and the matter is closed. I now have to go to court to get resolved.

Dear Chelsey,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We regret to hear that your experience with our company did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify several important points regarding your move, based on the information documented in our system and communications with our team.
Upon arrival at your residence, our movers were instructed by you to proceed based solely on the listed inventory. As they were nearing completion of the initial load, you requested that additional items be included. At that time, our crew informed you—before any further loading occurred—that this would result in an adjustment to the final cost, in accordance with the terms outlined in your contract.
As stated clearly in the contract, any price changes due to added volume or services must be acknowledged at the time of loading. You were informed of this adjustment on-site, and you proceeded to approve the additional items and signed the necessary paperwork, confirming your understanding of the updated cost.
The following day, after the pickup was completed and the contract had been signed, you contacted our office to demand the removal of the additional charges. Our representative explained that the pricing was updated in direct response to your request for additional items, and that this was communicated to you transparently at the time of service.
In a good faith effort to accommodate your concerns and maintain a positive relationship, we extended a $500 discount at the time of delivery—despite having no contractual obligation to do so. This was offered solely as a gesture of goodwill, and you accepted it.
After delivery, we received further requests for additional discounts. However, it’s important to clarify that pricing adjustments must be handled during the move process, not after the fact, and all charges were explained and agreed upon in advance of final delivery. The $500 discount provided at delivery was clearly communicated as a final adjustment, and your acceptance of it was considered a resolution.
We understand moving can be stressful, and we genuinely strive to make the process as smooth and transparent as possible. While we regret that you were dissatisfied, we stand by the professionalism of our team and the steps taken to address your concerns during and after the move.
If you have any unresolved issues regarding damages, please ensure your formal claim was submitted through the designated claims department. As per federal regulations, such claims are reviewed and processed independently in the order received, please try to submit your claim again, such as it looks like there was an issue with the website.

Full Sized Semi for 1b Move - $500 Fee
Failed to convey that they would be sending a full sized semi for a 1b move, subsequently couldn't fit on the neighborhood street. They charged me an additional $500 and were late on delivery for their mistake.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your concerns.
At this time, we are unable to locate your file based on the details provided. To better assist you, please provide the name on the reservation or reference number.
Please also note that for long-distance moves, we typically use full-sized tractor-trailers, it's outlined in our terms. If access is limited at delivery location, a smaller shuttle truck may be required, which can result in additional fees. This is a standard industry policy.
Once we locate your file, we’d be happy to review the delivery timeline and determine whether any compensation is due under our delay policy.
We look forward to resolving this for you.

Lies and offering a discount to remove bad reviews
2nd Update: They are still trying to get me to remove the review claiming they gave me a discount that I did not receive. Again, if you go with a moving company for a cross country move, beware.
And they straight up lied in the response. As I said in the original review, the movers DID NOT take the items on the quote. They even broke my grandmothers dresser straight in half.
UPDATE:
When the movers arrived there were additional fees they were trying to add on. They were trying to charge us for "packing supplies" that we had purchased ourselves over a week before even contacting them for the move. After speaking with Diana at BestMove for over 2 hours, she was helpful going back and forth between us and Big R, the transportation company to get us situated. However, she had seen that I had left this original review and offered to give me a $400 discount to remove it. Claiming that it's not BestMove that was trying to charge me, it was Big R. But, I told her I would not be removing it because that's not fair to other people. BestMove may not be the ones charging it, but you do employ the company that does, therefore you are just as guilty. I did not receive this discount.
I can't with good faith remove the original review as I feel people should know what they are in for.
Original review:
Lies on top of lies.
We were given a quote for moving from Tennessee to California. I was assured that our items would be stored in a climate controlled storage area in California until we had a drop off location and that the quote included our items being taken to the storage facility and to the final location. They assured me that if there were ANY issues, I could call them to get everything taken care of.
When the movers arrived, they DOUBLED the quote. Then after telling them to ONLY take the large items that were on the quote, they DID NOT TAKE THE ITEMS ON THE QUOTE. Leaving behind the washer and dryer, stand up freezer, TVs, and couches. They took the cushions for the couches though. Called the company and was told they would take care of it and surprise surprise, nothing.
Then I get a call 15 days later at 6pm saying our items will be here tomorrow morning at 8am! When I tell them we do not yet have a house, they tell me that they do not have a secured storage and that our items are already on the way. So again I call because I was definitely told differently, just to get transferred to someone that doesn't answer. When I attempted to call back, I'm sent to voicemail.

Dear Trevia Morrison,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations and appreciate the opportunity to respond.
At the time of your reservation, you provided a specific inventory list, and the price we quoted was based solely on that. When the movers arrived, they noted there were a number of additional items not included in the original list. Despite this, our team honored the original price and took the items you asked for based on the reserved space — with no extra charges.
After the move was completed, crew confirmed with you that everything was in order, and you expressed satisfaction before they left. It wasn’t until several hours later that we received a call regarding items left behind — some of which were not part of the original estimate.
Even so, our team worked hard to help. Diana spent significant time coordinating with the carrier on your behalf. To go above and beyond, we offered to cover the cost of destination storage and offered a $400 discount and it was deducted from your delivery balance. At the time, you expressed appreciation and agreed to update your review. Unfortunately, we later noticed the review was changed back to 1 star.
On 7/19 we called you trying to resolve this issue with you and on the recorded line you stated that you didn't received a credit in the amount of $400 at delivery. We did everything in our power to accommodate your complaints. We are respectfully asking you to be honest.
We always strive to be fair and helpful, and we appreciate the chance to clarify the situation.
Sincerely,
BestMove Customer Care Team
