I’m pretty happy with everything, their team were helpful, answered all of my questions and gave a really good deal compared to other companies and their response time were fast. Moving team did a great job, and packed all of our belongings exactly the way we requested. 10 out of 10 overall, would recommend!

First to start off they misrepresented…
First to start off they misrepresented what their company is about. I initially spoke Alexandra, she spoke highly of the company. The things she said about her company had me and I quickly decided to go with her company. We drew up a contract and she emphasized to me that what I signed was all the charges I would have to pay. It was the down payment and remainer would be broken up into two payments. The first payment will be given during the pickup and remaining balance will be paid when they deliver my belongings. That was a lie. Prior to my pick up, I received a call from Giovanna, who stated she was going over my final inventory. I had additional boxes added on and I was charged $300.00 by them. When the movers were scheduled to pickup my belongings, they couldn't make that time and contract me via phone and said they would be delayed several hours. Several hours later they told me their truck broke down and they wouldn't make that time either and scheduled again and that took several hours. When they didn't make that time, they text me with a map with their location and they would be delayed. As a result they were 7 hours late. Once the driver arrived, he did not go over my inventory. He just estimated about how much square footage my belongings would take up. He gave me an itemized bill with the additional charges that would need to be paid today.. This was so unexpected because Alexandra promised me their wouldn't be any other charges. The driver and I disagreed with the additional charges and I became frustrated and the driver said that's it and tore up the contract and told his helper to put back what items he packed and they were going to leave. I was so frustrated because I lost a lot of time and I had to be in another state that day. Which was a 6 hour drive that I couldn't make because of the delays. I returned to my home and tried contacting Bestmove Relocation and was unsuccessful. The driver returned to my home and asked me if I wanted to talk with his supervisor? I responded yes. Which that call was to no avail. He sided with the driver. Of course he would. The driver wasn't even going to accommodate with a discount due to the many delays. I was disappointed with the entire process of pickup. I tried contacting Alexandra via email and phone and she avoided my calls and would not respond to my emails. I tried contacting Giovanna. The same with her. I was given a number during my initial conversation with Alexandra, which would connect me to customer service. I spoke to a lady name Diana who told me Alexandra no longer handling my case, that she's no longer in the process moving forward. I asked to speak with a manager and stated she was the manager. I explained the ordeal I experienced and she stated she will get in touch with the moving company and resolve the issues. As a result, she lied several times regarding contacting the company and she started avoiding my phone calls and texts. The end result I had pay additional $800.00 for the pickup and to expect more charges upon delivery. This is a horrible experience and I suggest noone experience what I'm having to go through from this company that's a fraud. I happen to call Diana one more time. She answered and place me on hold. Her response to me, the moving company will get back with you in an hour. I explained, the issue is you all need to talk and explain all these additional charges. She said the contract I signed was only a estimate and the moving company addes additional charges based upon cubic space. I asked Diana if I can talk to her superior. She explained he doesn't talk with the customers. I asked for his name and she would only provide me a first name. I pressed the issue and she said the corporate are not available to talk with you. I explained to Diana, I am disappointed in the service I am being provided. I can not stress, Don't do business with Bestmove Relocation. I told Diana I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau. Diana's response was okay and hung up. I wanted to go into details so you won't hesitate to by pass this company if you want a piece of mind. And unfortunately not being over charged.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We regret to hear about the challenges you experienced and would like to provide clarification.
At the time of booking, you received and signed a written estimate, which, as stated in the contract, is non-binding. In accordance with DOT regulations, final charges are based on the actual cubic footage and services provided at the time of pickup. Any additional boxes or packing needs that were not part of the original inventory understandably increased the total space required, resulting in an adjustment to your balance. These procedures are standard across the moving industry and disclosed in all agreements.
Regarding the pickup schedule, we acknowledge that equipment delays impacted your move day. While updates were provided, we understand how frustrating the delay was and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
On the matter of customer service, our records confirm that your calls were answered and that our representatives, including Diana, assisted you by reviewing the terms of your contract, explaining the estimate process, and contacting the assigned carrier on your behalf. We regret if our efforts did not meet your expectations and will continue to evaluate how we can better communicate during these stressful situations.
Please be assured that your concerns are important to us. Our team remains available to assist with your file, including the claims process, should you wish to pursue it further. We encourage you to contact us directly at [insert email/phone] so we can work toward a constructive resolution.

Great experience!!!
I’m very impressed with Best Move Relocation. Alexandra was my point of contact, and she was always available when I needed her. Her communication was excellent — she got back to me right away no matter what day it was. Having someone so attentive really made all the difference in my experience.

Mr. K.
Bestmove Relocation is a TRASH COMPANY!!!
I booked a move from Hagerstown Maryland to Kissimmee FL and this company sub-contracted my move and caused my furniture to be damaged badly, To make matters worse I have pictures of my items coming off the truck damaged. No one from the company was willing to help me although they said they would. Spoke to Giovanna and Diana and they never sent my original BOL and eventually stopped answering my emails.PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IT IS ABSOLUTE TRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay far away from BESTMOVE relocation!!! They took 1050 in a deposit which they have not even offered to return due to their terrible service!! I also had to pay 1000 in Zelle at pickup and 2205 in cash at delivery. In total 4200 to have my things destroyed and not one of these people offered a refund or at best 50% return of my money. I am going to small claim court. I will add pictures on instagram and every site known to man about this company!! Their response below is scrap because sorry doesn’t cut it!!!
Unfortunately the movers contacted me and said they will not send a handyman. Are you guys going to send the handyman and have this fixed cause I haven’t heard that. Also I’m not threatening legal action I’m promising it if I am not compensated. I also did not receive my initial bill of lading and you only sent the final bill which I have proof of.

Dear Mr. K.L.,
We regret that you are unhappy with your relocation experience. After carefully reviewing your file, we would like to provide clarification:
At the time of booking, you were offered valuation protection options as outlined in your contract. You declined additional coverage and elected the basic valuation protection, which limits the carrier’s liability in the event of damage.
Following our conversation about the reported damages, you specifically requested that a handyman be sent to assist with repairs. We agreed and scheduled a service appointment within 2–3 business days to accommodate your request.
Since then, your position has changed. Instead of proceeding with the agreed repair solution, you are now demanding a 50% refund of the total cost of your move and threatening legal action.
While we understand your frustration, compensation outside the terms of the signed contract cannot be granted. We remain committed to assisting you through the proper process and honoring the solutions already agreed upon. Please contact our office if you would like us to move forward with the scheduled handyman repair or to provide claim forms in accordance with federal guidelines.
Sincerely,
BestMove Relocation

Stay away from this scammers!
On May 5, I forwarded pictures of my
furnitures room by room, to Bestmove Relocation, and we signed a contract with them for a full service move amounting to $3,995.20. I admit, they are the cheapest among the movers I contacted. The condition was that 2 to 5 days before the move, we will have a video verification of the items listed in our signed Bill of Lading ("BoL") for possible price adjustment.
The scheduled date of the move was July 1st, but was later amended to July 5th upon our request.
>
> On July 2nd, I received an email from Marina of the Company asking me to sign a revised contract (BoL)), increasing our cost from the original $3,995.20 to $5,144.01. The email was sent at 2:33 pm. Surprised, I responded to the email asking why and on what basis our contract is being increased, but never got an answer.
someone named Richard, who introduced himself as an employee of the Company, asking if we can do a video verification the following day, July 3rd at 4:00 p.m., which I agreed to.
>
> Still wondering, about the email sent earlier from Marina, I called the number on the said email and got hold of her, who said I need to talk to Richard instead. She then connected me to his voicemail and I left a message to call me back. A few minutes later, I received a text from Richard’s number, introducing himself at that time as Adrian, and apologized for not returning my call but confirming our video verification for the following day of July 3rd at 4:00 p.m.
asking if we are still on for the call. He rescheduled it for 6:00 p.m. on that same day, wherein we did a google video call for maybe 10 minutes, then informed me that I will get an updated BoL. I never mentioned about the first email from Marina because I wanted to compare the new one that he will send me, with that of what I received earlier from her.
>
> To no surprise, their cubic-foot volume are almost identical. That’s when I confronted Richard about this malicious business of them, trying to increase the amount of the contract even without any basis because the video verification hasn’t happened yet. The price increase came (2:00 p.m.) prior to the visual inspection (6:00 p.m.), meaning, everything was planned or part of their SOP. Richard has no explanation how it happened and promised to find out, he then hang up the phone. A few minutes later, he called offering me a discount of $300.00, insisting about the increased volume he identified during the video verification and promised that the new amount of $5,012.01, on which he already reduced by $300.00, will be the final bill. His new BoL was $5,312.01 before the discount.
>
> Two days before the move, I almost had no choice, I signed a new agreement of $5,012.01. Also, I have a painting company scheduled to paint the entire interior of our house after the scheduled move.
called me scheduling our move to the following day, July 6th, instead of my preferred date of July 5th. That’s the best they can do according to her, being right after the July 4th holiday.
>
> During that same call (supposedly recorded according to their answering intro), she reminded me that my balance of $3,812.01 has to be paid in CASH. I mentioned to her that the contract says half can be paid by credit card before loading, and half before unloading by either cash or cashier’s check. I got a big NO from her and said the movers has no credit card reader, and I can pay by check, but they will hold my furnitures until the check clears from their bank, which could be a week from pick up being a holiday and the Company is out-of-state.
> I asked for my children’s help who lives in VA because at that time, it was late afternoon, a day before the July 4th holiday, and ATM machines will give us a maximum of $1,000.00. Our bank is in Washington D.C. - the Bank Fund Staff Federal Credit Union.
>
> Then came Sunday, Juy 6th, the day of the move. The movers arrived, asked me to walk them around and identify which are moving. For about 15 minutes, we did that then right after, the foreman said the move is not going to happen for the amount of $5,000.00, because there are a lot more items than what’s on the BoL. He then pointed to some items like a 12”x16” frame already bubble wrapped that he needs to re-wrap, a 36” glass top which will cost $60.00 to wrap, etc, etc. He then said he will move us for $14,000.00 plus the cost of materials that will be used. We were shocked because our furnitures are not that much, it’s just me and my wife, and what a jump from the original $3,995.00 to now $14,000.00 plus. He then said we can cancel if we don’t agree but our down payment of $1,200.00 will not be refunded.
To cut the story short, we ended up cancelling the move, and we’ve reached to the point of calling the police because they won’t leave our front driveway, trying to convince us to settle for $11k instead.

Dear George,
Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed account of your experience. We are very sorry to hear about the stress and frustration this move caused you and your family. We would like to address several of the concerns you raised.
Pricing and Video Verification:
The purpose of the video walkthrough is to ensure that the inventory and cubic footage (cf) are as accurate as possible before the scheduled pickup, reducing the likelihood of major changes on moving day. While photos and videos provided in advance are helpful, they can sometimes make particular items appear larger or smaller than they are in person. For this reason, adjustments to cubic footage may still occur once the crew is onsite. This step in the process is intended to create transparency and avoid unexpected changes during the actual pickup. We regret if the timing of communications regarding your updated BOL created the impression of confusion or lack of clarity
Discounts and Adjustments :
You mentioned that Richard offered you a discount after reviewing the updated inventory. Please know that our intent was not to pressure but to reach a fair adjustment based on the cubic footage. We apologize if this felt misleading or abrupt.
Payment Methods:
Per the signed contract, the accepted forms of payment are:
At pickup: credit card, postal money order, cash, or Zelle.
At delivery: postal money order, cash, or Zelle only.
These terms are clearly stated in the agreement and apply to all customers to ensure compliance with company policy and DOT regulations. We regret if there was any miscommunication regarding these requirements during your conversations with our staff.
Day-of-Move Experience:
We take very seriously your report of the foreman’s conduct on July 6th. The estimate you were presented onsite was significantly higher than both the original and adjusted BoL, and the manner in which this was communicated does not reflect the service standards we expect from the carriers we work with. Additionally, we do not condone any situation where a customer feels pressured or forced to involve law enforcement. We are escalating this matter internally and with the carrier involved for a full investigation.
Deposit
As outlined in the signed contract, deposits are non-refundable, particularly in cases where a pickup is canceled onsite after labor and equipment have already been reserved and dispatched. The deposit secures resources that cannot be reassigned at the last minute, which is why this clause is clearly stated in our agreement.
We sincerely apologize that your experience did not meet expectations. Our goal is always to provide a reliable, professional relocation service, and your feedback will be used to improve our process and communication with both customers and contracted carriers.

Beware this is not a moving company, they are a broker/dispatcher.
First, of all beware this is not a moving company, they are a broker/dispatcher. A middle man. They deceived me on that. Due to this also, the price changed. Some of that was because my Daughter had more stuff than I knew about. So, I won't put that on them. The problem was delivery. They told me that the truck would be in Dallas from LA on Friday Aug 8th. They never told me the date had changed. I get a call from the driver on Aug 14th that It will be here the next day on the 15th. That was a problem because that gave me 24hrs to get ready for the delivery. They should have let me know better info on the delivery time. This was clearly because they are a broker not a delivery company. Do your self a favor and don't pay them extra just to hire a truck They charged me $700 that I could have saved if I had gone directly to a REAL moving company.
Response from BestMove RelocationAug 23, 2025
Dear Gerard,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your frustrations with the delivery timing and the confusion regarding our role. While we are a licensed moving broker, we work only with authorized and insured carriers, and we always aim to make that clear to customers in our agreements and documentation.
Regarding your delivery, we would like to clarify that for your mileage (Distance: 1,428 miles), the contract allows up to 14 business days for delivery from your First Available Delivery Date (FADD), which was 08/08. This means your delivery window extended through 08/27, as outlined in the agreement signed before the pickup. In addition, per DOT regulations, drivers are only required to provide up to 24 hours’ notice prior to delivery, which is why you were informed on 08/14 about the scheduled delivery on 08/15. While we understand that limited notice can be inconvenient, the delivery itself was completed fully within the DOT-regulated and contractually agreed timeframe.
On the pricing, additional charges can occur if the final inventory differs from what was originally listed, as noted in the contract, but we always want to make sure those changes are explained clearly and upfront. We regret that this experience caused you stress and unexpected costs.
We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve both communication and service. If you’d like to discuss your move in more detail, please reach out to us directly at (689)444-5892 or [email protected], and we’ll be glad to review your file.

Extremely disappointed
Disgruntled with the movers
When our things arrived I immediately suspected we were not dealing with professional movers, or truck packers for that matter. There was no organization with how things were placed on the truck. This was especially disappointing because our things were loaded into a truck just to be off loaded into a warehouse and back on another truck. Several pieces of furniture were delivered with broken pieces, boxes and plastic totes completely destroyed, bent beyond fixing and with holes in the sides of the boxes. Upon opening boxes I found items wrapped in bubble wrap that had been damaged, items were moved from one tote to the other (I know this because of how I sorted and packed everything), items belonging to my significant other, who lived at a different residence at the time our things were packed and loaded were mixed in with my things. It was suggested that maybe some boxes/totes fell over and opened however that does not explain cards and pictures from one residence being found in a box of clothes that were packed at another residence. It was apparent our things were not properly stacked and stored as common sense would suggest putting lighter items atop of the heavier items.
