Belkin Screen Protector at the Apple Store - AVOID. The idea of buying a screen protector at the Apple Store, appears inviting, trustworthy, easy and rewarding. Until you actually will need the screen replaced. After 44.95$ at the apple counter for a screen protector, one additional screen guaranteed, when needed. I feel fooled and foolish. There are plenty of options available, with less chasing to get the products and the promise. Avoid this service. You will only get the replacement/what you paid for, only if they have inventory. You will only receive a replacement if the screen has wear and tear. You will not get the replacement, Gd forbid, if you happen to drop the phone, or if your phone slips from your hand. The first reason why you get a screen protector.

Like everyone else, I was scammed by Belkin. Bought a Wireless 3-1 Apple charger, mainly because clearly stating “1 year warranty”. But guess what? 5 months and broke down. AirPods Pro burning like red coal and not charging at all. Don’t worry. Belkin got you covered. Read about this everywhere. Like everyone else, after what seemed like a ‘just below average’ warranty claim process.. nothing more happens! No RMA number, no reply, no help, no return label. No twitter reply, no Facebook reply, no email reply. Just a “please rate your experience” mail and then NOTHING! Standardised, auto generated bot replies “…. our Customer Service team is still working on your case. No worries we have sent them a follow-up to assist you further with your request. Please stay tuned for updates”, yada yada. It’s a bot. No one is reading what you’re writing. Of course, Belkin also don’t have an office here in Denmark; their business model would be illegal and instantly pursued by customer rights associations. !! AVOID AT ALL COST !!

Belkin is a fraud company. They are a hollow organisation with absolutely no respect for customers, particularly shocking given the prices they charge. I purchased a 3 in 1 wireless charger stand and quickly noticed the plug was making an odd sound. I contacted their customer service and they provided a seemingly clean process for a replacement. It has now been almost 3 months since I sent them back the faulty product and they have still not delivered my replacement and lack in communication. Essentially robbing me of my money and the product. They are saying the product is not currently in stock but this is an invalid excuse as there is stock of the product on their business partner websites. They offer no alternatives; only empty promises whilst expecting “patience”. NEVER interact with this company as they are a complete sham.

I used to be a fan of Belkin. A successful American startup with good products and customer service. No longer! I used to buy a lot of Belkin products, and I liked the WeMo smart plugs. WeMo is owned by Belkin, which is now owned by Foxconn (a huge Taiwanese/Chinese company). They stole from old WeMo customers by no longer allowing control over a local network. You now have to set up an online account, provide access to your phone's GPS location, and go through the Internet to control the smart plugs in your house. GOODBYE WeMo, Belkin, and LinkSys!!! Never again for this old fan. Interestingly, they've also eliminated any ways their customers might give them feedback. The closed down their community support forum and deleted all the posts and info there. There's not even an email address on their website for support or corporate! The only ways to access them are through web forms, live chat, and a phone number for tech support only.

I bought a mesh system 6 months ago it just stopped working one day it has a 1 year warranty I call to get a new 1 after staying on the phone with them for 10 hours they refuse to send me a new 1 unless I gave them a $500 deposit with a credit card. There is no technical support to speak of there is no corporate number to call and when you do call technical support you are sent over to the Philippines and you are given the run around and they don't stand behind their policy.

How can Apple be in partnership with a company with such poor customer service!!? I purchased a wireless charger through the Apple shop but was told I had to go to Belkin directly for support when it broke... still trying and no luck. Their phone team keep hanging up before the issue is resolved and are difficult to hear, I suspect both are intentional to avoid having to replace their terrible products! What's more the online chat function never connects to an adviser! Shame on Apple for selling this rubbish but worse for leaving their customers to deal with their terrible customer services!
