I set up a newsletter with affiliate offers that are relevant to the subscriber, These include trainings and books I recommend on Amazon. I spent days creating emails and really only had one subscriber. I tried to integrate with another tool, which is allowed, and then my account is locked for terms of use. Now I can't access anything. Support is some AI bot with no human response. I submitted my first ticket 4 days ago and nobody will respond. At least let me access my emails so I can move them to another platform. This could be a really great platform but the lack of a support team sends a message to the tech community, spend elsewhere. It's a damn shame because someone put a lot of effort into the software, just not the operating model.

Don't use unless you want your business to be associated with Scammers. Frequently send customers junk and scam emails. Anti-consumer business practices (the Unsubscribe and Report functionality dont work).

Seems to be frequently used by scammers to send you fraudulent emails. The Abuse Team does not respond when you report cases and apparently does not take any further steps to protect you from the scammers.

I have not registered with BeeHiiv and have requested they delete me from there database yet the persist on sending me more junk mail.

I deleted my account in a few minutes when the system will not let me add custom menu links or any basic changes to the design. These are options every website builder offers. Tumblr, come on! For the amount of money they want for their monthly/yearly paid plans, I cannot take that risk without knowing how many subscribers I can wind up with. Great if you have money to burn and maybe your pride because enjoy spending that if you do not get enough subscribers or income. Sure, Arnold Schwarzenegger gets instant subscribers. You probably won't get enough to break even on these expenses. The case studies area feels like a pyramid scheme. Have you seen the people profiled? No one here is a professional person. Some of these people sell business newsletters on how to get rich quick. Jordan "Wolf of Wall Street" Belfort got himself in a mess, didn't he? Do you want his career advice? What about the crypto currency people they promote? The food people are not Food Network or professional food writers for The New York Times, lots of podcasters, Arnold Schwarzenegger is the only actual famous person on this whole case studies who ever had a real career. Substack has some pretty angry newsletter authors, but some of them at least are/were minor celebrities and real celebs like Pam Anderson and Patti Smith. Gave it a shot. It is not for me. Save your money and use something else unless you are in the business of snake oil newsletters. Beehiiv should count themselves in on that bunch because they don't deliver on what they promise and make you buy a very expensive plan. Really disappointed with Beehiiv. There seems to be a lot of hype around this product. Having used the platform it makes me wonder how much of that is paid for. Firstly the Free Trial isn't free or available at all if you already have over 2500 subscribers. This feels exceptionally misleading as this information isn't forthcoming. It's a great way to get people annoyed from the start in my opinion. Secondly this isn't really a 'Newsletter' platform. It is a 'blogging and newsletter' platform. They encourage you to post in the beehiiv ecosystem and each post goes out as a newsletter. This might be good for beginners, but is no good for established publishers. Further to this I found the email builder to be basic and poor. I have no doubt this will go through many many iterations in the next few years, but right now it seems exceptionally basic. Just thoroughly disappointing as I was really excited and really hoping Beehiiv was going to be amazing.

I looked into this company once last year. Since then, no matter how many times I hit unsubscribe, they refuse to take me off their mailing list.
