This site is a scam. We receive more than a dozen spam emails from Beehiiv every day, but none of our users have ever signed up for any of the purported "subscriptions". These guys are doing nothing but laundering spam, and all unsubscribe requests are ignored. Anyone interested in their service should reconsider, as we and most of our clients are summarily blocking anything coming from beehiiv.com

I started receiving e-mails from you today on my e-mail from beehiv. I never visited that site before. I never signed to any newsletter. I don't know anyone who could sign me. Why does that site send me these e-mails? There should be not possibility to add me to "newsletter list" without MY CONSENT (confirm link). But this site does it. Therefore I consider it as SPAMMING company, especially that there is no support e-mail/contact of their site if you're not registered. You can contact their stupid AI-bot, but it first asks for name/e-mail and description of problem, and when received, then refuses to send tickets. Totally not recommend. If you google "behiiv spam" you will find at least few threads on Reddit describing the same issue like I have... FORM ONE YEAR AGO. How this spamming company still exist? I don't want to click any links provided on that e-mail. I don't trust any "unsubscribe" buttons since they are often fake (so hackers know that my e-mail is active). Please remove all my DATA from your database and protect from signing without e-mail confirmation.

Built a site on the free plan in July 2026. Through September I added more than twenty guest authors with no warning, no limit prompt, nothing. The product let me do it because at the time the plan allowed it. In early October beehiiv renamed and restructured its tiers — Launch/Scale/Max became Free/Lite/Pro — and the guest author allowance on the free plan dropped to one. I found out by trying to add someone and getting blocked. No email, no in-app notice I ever saw, no grace period. The middle tier doesn’t fix it either: Lite is $49/month billed annually and still caps guest authors at three. Only Pro, at $95/month billed annually, restores what the free plan gave me in September. The documentation is also still inconsistent — different pages list different limits, which made it take a while to even confirm what had happened and that I hadn’t done something wrong. Repricing is normal. Shrinking a limit by 95% on accounts that have already built around it, with no notice reaching the customer, is how you lose people. One star.

Beehiiv’s mobile (iPad and phone) capabilities are so poor, I would simply suggest that you look away if that’s your main device to write. Their server is also very unstable. You often need to refresh the page because after copy pasting the page simply freezes for no reason. This is one of the worst softwares I’ve used.

They keep selling my email address to their partners. I'm getting spammed and there is no way to get off their master list. I don't have a login with their system and support is non responsive Each time they come from beehiiv but from a different company. The unsubscribe is not from beehiiv but from their partners content. There is no way to get off beehiiv master list

Our infrastructure was subjected to immediate, arbitrary operational termination with zero warning, zero diagnostic transparency, and an automated refusal of human compliance triage.

An hour after I paid $44 per month for Scale, I went back to the Beehiiv home page where Scale is $34. Waiting three hours for it to go down to $4, then I'll cancel my account and start over.
