I suggest shopping elsewhere for health insurance! I would not use this company if I had to. They do not cover anything..they take your money, do not explain the benefits clearly during the initial sign-up and leave you hanging to figure it out. I say..shop around and be sure, do not make the same mistake I did!!

This has got to be the absolute worst company. They put you on hold for hours replaying the same music. Then they're like oh well I don't know how to do that, so let me transfer you, and then you keep waiting. No customer service chat. You send them a message and they respond a month later telling you to wait longer. It's been two months since I filed my claim and it's still processing. They are SO expensive. They increase the prices do not respond. They are absolutely awful. Not BBB accredited. This company is ROBBING people. Every time I log in they change the link so it says the link is broken. Their website is down almost weekly. Literally everything about this company is horrible.

Do not get the skai plan through Walmart. It does not pay hardly anything toward your hospital bill. On prescriptions, it will not pay for a 90 day supply unless you get it filled at Walmart or Sam’s Club. I work 3rd shift at Walmart the pharmacy is not open when I work. I do not have a Walmart or Sam’s in the town I live in. Who wants to drive out of town to get their medicine filled just for their insurance to cover it. If you have it make sure the dr only write your prescriptions in 30 day supply’s. God forbid you be convenienced to not have to go to the pharmacy every 90 days, because If so it won’t be covered at your local pharmacy. Now stuck paying for this worthless insurance until open enrollment.

Wouldn't cover rehab after neck surgery for a compressed and inflamed spinal cord. Just had me sent home, to be taken care of by family (thankfully, I have family that can do this), and minimal home health and physical therapy care. Every employee of this company should only feel shame for continuing to be a part of this company.

Fractured jaw claim denied. How is this possible. Have called multiple times for 1 year. Always told something different and they would get back to me in 30-45 days. Never got called back. I would follow up at 45 days and start all over. Repeated multiple times. What’s the point of having insurance if they don’t cover an accident of a fractured jaw.

I’ve called three times. Twice I was on hold for 40 minutes then automatically disconnected and asked to call back. The third time “Brook” wouldn’t help me because I did not have an NPI number, nor would she tell me how to obtain it. I finally got a hold of someone and they wouldn’t help me at all?! Was she trained that way?

This review is about ANTHEM BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD; What can a person do in 10 weeks? Add about 10 hours and one can sail around the world twice or walk from New York to San Francisco and back again. It's also the amount of time it takes for a mega-insurance company like Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield to post a measly $50 credit to a customer's OTC card. This credit's a reward for getting a home visit / routine medical checkup from a subsidiary company called Matrix. This extra money was very much needed in light of the fact the newly installed oligarchs in DC needlessly cut Medicare benefits. I went from having $135 in my monthly OTC account to $50. With the OTC card, I paid utilities and/or internet fees. The decrease in benefits really hurts. So now I wait. I took the Matrix home visit on March 22nd and now, 8 weeks later, still no credit on my OTC. The company tells me it takes 10 weeks to post a credit - a period of time that defies logic and cannot be justified in any way. I'm sure both Matrix and the visiting nurse got paid for the home visit. Somehow I count less - this is the worst customer service. And I am done with the home visits. They are not worth the aggravation.
