I never had any expectations at all about selling my business. I had spent 22 years just serving clients and I figured that as I got ready to retire and stop, then I'd just close the door to my office and turn off my computer. But Baton evaluated my business, told me that it had value and that there were even people wanting to buy it. And it happened. Their process was simple, clear and straight-forward. All their staff was professional, honest and amazingly tolerant of somebody like me who had never gone through the process before. I would absolutely recommend working with them again. Thank you, Ebony.

Had a great experience selling my business. Ebony was my advisor and she was wonderful.

I could not have asked for a better experience that I got with Baton in selling my business. They were honest, professional and committed to getting the deal done right away. I especially want to thank Ebony. She worked incredibly hard, kept everyone on task, and consistently moved the process forward. Her patience, persistence, and responsiveness made everything move smoothly and more quickly. I'm deeply grateful to Baton and Ebony for helping find a buyer and making this sale a reality. I wholeheartedly recommend Baton to anyone considering selling their business. Baton is a very professional, honest, and dedicated company.

Baton employees were helpful from initial contact all the way to me removing my listing. There was no high pressure, and everyone I talked to seemed to genuinely care about me and my business. I had almost a full price offer within 2 months, but decided it wasn't the right time to sell, yet. I'll definitely make contact with them in a few years if the desire to sell arises.

The service quite frankly was not very good. Going into signing a contract with Baton they made us feel like there would be lots of activity. There wasn’t. And, when there was some activity Baton was slow to respond to inquiries. Coupled with the fact that we had no idea how much (if any) Baton was pushing our business and $1500 was just not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend Baton to any business looking to sale. We have since found brokers who take very little up front and instead make more after they sale your company. This is the model that makes sense.

I was on the buyer side dealing with a seller broker from Baton (Fahad). Overall Fahad was extremely professional and was helpful in the entire process to maintain proper expectation for everybody whiched allowed us to have a smooth process all the way thru closing. 100% recommend to others looking for brokers to recommend them in their small business sale.

I recently acquired a company I sourced through Baton, and had a great experience throughout the process. From the outset, the company data was comprehensive, well-organized, and easy to evaluate. The inclusion of a detailed seller interview was especially helpful—it allowed me to quickly understand the business and move confidently toward making an offer. Throughout the deal process, the Baton team was professional, responsive, and effective in coordinating between both sides. They played a key role in helping drive a smooth transaction, resulting in a successful exit for the seller and acquisition for me.

After engaging with several groups from the VC crowd representing individual “qualified buyers” and hitting the “this is not quite to right opportunity for our investors” response more than once; I decided I needed exposure to a bigger pool of buyers. My research led me to Baton. I liked their valuation and onboarding process and felt we were immediately heading in the right direction. Within hours of my profile going live I had inbound inquiries from prospective buyers. Before long we were scheduling three to four one on one calls with pre-screened buyers a week. My first offer came in after about two weeks. After some back and forth, we declined and went back to market. Before long I had three competing offers. It’s nice to be able to choose your buyer. Bottom line: Baton brought multiple qualified buyers to me fast. I was able to short cut the one on one meetings with individual VC reps and get a deal done quickly. AND, financially, where I wanted it to be.
