I bought Batana babe shampoo and liquid oil from them after my friend referred them. I am leaving them a review after testing it out for 4 months. I am loving how it leaves my hair shiny and smooth. Hair growth wise I am seeing some small baby hairs in places I haven’t. Can’t comment fully yet on it.

Ashley Smith is a manipulator - Product received unsealed/leaky - No solution offered, just passive aggression, then blame-shifting
Ashley Smith, being a "small business" doesn't give you the right to practice passive aggression by ignoring customers' messages, then disgustingly misrepresent the facts on Trustpilot to try to save face. Reporting your wrongdoings and stating the facts is not "vitriol". If you don't like the truth to be told, just abstain from doing wrong to others.
I see you reply much quicker when it's in public, which says a lot about you.
1. When did you "deny the return" exactly? Please quote your proof. You wrote in your only reply "If you wish to return, as per our policy that is done by the seller and shipped back to us." You never deigned to reply regarding refunding the return postage, although you* were responsible for the poor condition of what you sent.
2. I never "expressed anger for paying taxes", shame on you for misrepresenting the facts. Customers pay taxes only because they expect to get a product in brand-new condition, yours arrived unsealed, you never addressed that and very "honestly" gloss over it in your reply below. I simply wrote that because your product was *not* in the condition it should have been in, there was no reason I should pay anything for or related to this product, be it taxes, postage, or return postage. Which you'd easily understand and approve if you had but an ounce of respect and integrity. Only a swindler can find it acceptable that a customer pays 56.90 euros for receiving an unsealed/leaky product.
3. Any DECENT business owner would have a problem with causing only inconvenience and losses to a client, because that's the OPPOSITE OF SERVICE, and would offer some solution/compensation for that. But you prefer SELF-SERVICE... A) LOSS OF BENEFIT as the product was in poor condition, I didn't even want to keep it B) LOSS OF TIME (sending you emails/pictures which I shouldn't have had to) C) LOSS OF MONEY (taxes which I'd never have paid, had I been aware of what you'd sent). So you cause all this, think only of your own interests, and the customer who's at the receiving end of all this is the "bully"??... Blame-shifting is a classic manipulation technique. Blaming the effect when you're the cause...
4. You conveniently NEVER addressed (neither in your only email nor here) the core issue which was the poor condition of the product I received. It's much easier to misportray the customer as a "bully", of course, than to take responsibility for what happened and offer an honest and honorable solution. Who's the bully exactly? Who's practiced passive aggression instead of solving the issue like a decent and honest professional? Who's been grossly unfair to their customer? Very nice example of projection and blame-shifting indeed, typical of manipulators. I received an unsealed product that had leaked into the lid and onto the label... The enveloppe itself was very tightly sealed. Sent you a number of pictures upon reception, you didn't even apologize... Even when you buy oil to eat in a supermarket it is *sealed properly, to prevent oxidization.*
Here are the facts: after I requested a full refund of all I paid for this order, including taxes, plus a refund of the return postage, *no reply* from you from June 6 to June 14. Is it what you call "customer *care"? Is it the professionalism with which you *serve* your customers? Would you like to be "served" this way? Who is the "bully" who ignores others instead of being fair to them? No apology for the inconvenience, no politeness, no offer of any solution when YOU ARE AT FAULT. And of course, no one ever picks up the phone. Such a disgraceful way of doing business and relating to customers. But at least my conscience is clear, and I'm not a pathetic, manipulative swindler. Your customers do not "love you" as you said, they love your product only, and that doesn't mean you're not at fault in this case. This wasn't about "love" and "anger" and "being a match", we were not on Tinder but doing a transaction. It was about fulfilling your obligations, which you didn't do, and not only did you not do that, but you stoop to misportraying your customer after offering no solution at all. Customer "care" indeed... Greed and dishonesty will not bring you luck

Sonia Le Berre,
Being a customer does not mean you have the right to show vitriol after we denied your request for a return after you expressed anger at paying customs fee because you live in France and those in France has customs duty. I am sorry we could not be a match. We will not be bullied by you. Not now and not ever. We have the support of real customers who love us and who we love back. I truly wish you all the best!

I love it!
I use it with my deep conditioner, let it sit for 30 minutes with a heated cap. My hair feels so soft! After blow drying , my hair was very smooth. It’s my second week using Batana oil and this time I’m wearing my hair curly, I think I’m in love!

Great Product
I tried the original Batana Babe for the first time about a year or two ago. I had hair loss from putting a chemical hair product in my hair. I was heartbroken and desperate when I found an advertisement for Bantana Babe on the website. After reading details about how and where it was made and reading the reviews, I decided to try it and I'm very glad I did. My hair has grown back longer and fuller and my hair stylist commented how healthy it is. This time I ordered all the products except the oil but I will include it with my order in the near future.
