Buyer Beware: Misleading Advertising
I searched for SPD shoes compatible with SPD cleats for cycling and the first two products that came up (today even) were Bareroots "cycling shoes". I should've read more carefully because they're not SPD shoes at all. When I tried to return them, I tried numerous times and they said they could give a 30% refund or store credit. Don't waste your money or time with them.

Hi Steve, We’re sorry to hear about your experience and for any confusion regarding the product listing. Our shoes are designed for comfort and casual wear, not for SPD cleats, and we understand how this could have been frustrating if that wasn’t clear at checkout. We’ve located your order and have already reached out directly via email to resolve this for you. We always aim to make things right for our customers and will ensure you’re fully taken care of. Warm regards, The Bareroots Team

All Good
Well, the fact that I have patience and with no shipping or tracking other than a post telling me that my order was on its way and would arrive soon, I just put my faith in your company’s word and voila! 18 days after order date, I now have both the snow shoes and the hiking shoes and I love them both; perfect fit and style!

I placed and order and within 12 hours…
I placed and order and within 12 hours contacted the company to cancel as I mistakenly order two of the same item. They took over 24 hours to respond and by then stated it was too late to cancel. I then received my items and they were all too small. I wanted to return them and didn't want to pay the shipping as the products are not well made and did not fit i have corresponded back and forth for a month. First offer was a 30% refund and then a 50% refund. I explained that I wanted a full refund and did not feel like I should have to pay the shipping. Again was told a 50% refund was all they could do. I will not shop online again. I will go to retail stores from now on. I am very disappointed in this company and their products
