Shoes so bad even the store doesn’t want them back! The shoes were cheaply made, too small, and customer service said for me to keep the shoes or donate them. Saying I could get 75% store credit, but never gave it to me.never returned any of my emails, except for an automated message. Very poor customer service. Do Not purchase from here! Update- Bareroot had generic response below. I emailed them the same day as requested and they have not responded.01/01/2026

I thought I had decided on a good product. The first time I put the boot on the buckle detached from it. I didn't past the first day. The boot doesn't present to be of good quality, it appeared to online. I will be checking the return policy to send their merchandise back.

Update: Resolved. I was able to receive partial refund credit and received a different pair of shoes which were satisfactory. I tried to process a return for a refund. The shoes were too narrow, too short and did not resemble the advertised picture in color and finish. I received an email that read ‘ To help us move forward with your return request and open a claim on your behalf, could you please send a photo of the shoes either being worn or laid flat next to a measuring tape showing the key measurements?’ It appears I needed to prove my assertions. I have requested information for a return three times. Would not recommend this company. Poor customer service and misleading advertising. The shoes are thin and flimsy. The process for returns are extremely problematic. Update: I received their reply to this review (below) as well as by email. I have responded to their email 3 times. No action on their part has been taken. They did not follow up on THEIR offer. Hence, this update. There has been no action on their part beyond empty words to resolve this issue. My money has been taken and all I have is a pair of flimsy dupes I can’t wear. Stall, Delay, Deflect, Sound Bites, and a continuous repetition of these things is their strategy. This, unfortunately, has been my experience.

I received my order 10 days ago, and the shoes are too small. My usual size is a US 10, but these feel much tighter, so I’m not sure if they run true to size. Also, the quality isn't as good as shown in the photos. I asked to return them and get a refund, but no one responded. I have been sent emails, and nobody has replied!
