Turning a negative to a positive...
UPDATE: The day after I left this review, I was contacted by Hazel, the E-Commerce Manager at Baby Blue. She processed the return of our money personally and offered to send out a beautiful bouquet as an apology, ABSOLUTELY FREE, which literally arrived just hours after I agreed. She did request that in light of this, I alter my review, which I was happy to do. The bouquet is gorgeous and I feel like she went over and above to make this right. Thank you, Hazel. You are an asset to Baby Blue. _______________________________________________ Well, I wish I had read these reviews before ordering a sympathy bouquet for my boss' family. Within moments of ordering online, I got a confirmation and then just a moment later, a cancellation saying the florist did not have the flowers for that particular arrangement. I tried responding to the "customer happiness" person, Cathleen Kaur, via three different email addresses, and instead of answering my questions, I got a canned answer that said the same thing as the initial cancellation email. I had thought I was purchasing from a local florist, but when I called to talk to a human, I got someone at a helpdesk somewhere. Definitely NOT a local florist. After looking into my order, he also just gave me a canned answer that restated what the emails had said. How disappointing to want to send flowers for a funeral and to run into this kind of behavior. Feels like a scam, and taking advantage of customers. Was promised a refund in two days. Will be keeping tabs to make sure that happens. Some advice: Pick up the phone and find a florist local to where you are sending the flowers. You'll get more honest interaction and folks who are personable and actually care.
