Avocado Green MattressReviews of avocadogreenmattress.com

I ordered a city bed frame and the headboards warped terribly. After getting two replacements that also warped I requested a refund, and only got about 10% back. This was top dollar bedframe 1500 dollars and is essentially a few warped boards... buyer beware....

I ordered 2 of their pillows on sale, and they're super comfortable. I prefer a looser, fluffier stuffing that's breathable. These pillows delivered.

Think before you purchase. Organic marketing is all good but a mattress that keeps sinking? My bodyweight is 115 lbs and this is my replacement mattress. They will say the slats on the platform is not tight enough and give you the run around. I can’t believe after dropping almost 2 grand, I have to consider another mattress because my back is killing me. I move around the mattress finding a spot that didn’t sink. Terrible mattress

Ordered twin XL mattresses and accompanying frames. Also ordered in home delivery and assembly. When shipping notice came it said curb side delivery. I called and said this is incorrect. They said due to restrictions, the carrier only can do curb side. I sent them the link to Massachusetts web site which shows that there are no restrictions. Oh- the restrictions are by the carrier they tell me. So they hire a carrier that does not do home delivery and assembly but let you select that feature? I am cancelling order. Is this incompetence or deception? You choose.

As many have reviewed the terrible customer service which I'm now experiencing myself I feel I need to comment on the mattress. After many hours of research and reading about the mattress on the Avocado site and reviews (maybe fake?) We purchased the mattress and separate topper. The vacuumed packed mattress was unpacked and set up per their video and we left it to expand for two weeks (on vacation) before any initial use. I noticed that the top still had a deep depression where it was folded for shipping and and it was wrinkled not full and puffy like the video and pictures. Obviously due to the vacuum packing and possibly a flaw in the construction of the mattress it never fully expanded. We decided to give it several months and see if it responded to use. It has only gotten worse and and for several months I awake with back and hip pain and now sleep on our 10 year old mattress which we put in the guest room, which doesn't sag and doesn't cause back and hip pain. This Avocado Mattress is clearly flawed and defective. I'm now on my 6th email with customer service since there wasn't a way to call them and they will not call me despite requesting it. I'm simply getting requests for a picture of this and picture of that and a picture of the bed frame, measurements of the slats etc. all one email at a time. Now they're suggesting we place the mattress on the floor to test it out and see if we need to build a "solid platform" in our new, expensive, very well built bed as this may remove the sunken center and wrinkled top. Seriously this is most ridiculous process I have experienced with a product. We regret buying a mail order mattress. We considered exchanging the Avocado mattress for another hopefully good one, but after this terrible service and experience they just lost a customer! I'm waiting for their the next email to request our body weight (me 185lbs and wife135lbs) so we're about average or slightly below), so they cant blame the sagging on our being overweight. Based on the stalling it appears they want to do anything but accept responsibility for their poor product. I'm beginning to believe we are about to be stuck with a really bad, expensive, defective mattress as they obviously don't want to stand behind all the promises and guarantees on their web site. DON'T BUY ONE AND FIND A BETTER COMPANY FOR ORGANICS!

Bed is comfortable. Lots of issues with delivery and communication, but Sundeep, my representative was amazing from start to finish

Absolute garbage customer service. I have been trying to cancel my order for the last three days. I am VERY skeptical of their five star reviews, as they all seem to be manufactured aka fake. Their website is slick with very good design, and the product they promise looks great on paper, but ZERO customer service. I am currently in my FOURTH HOUR waiting for their online chat to respond, I have sent a bunch of emails to both their "support" and "return" departments, and have gotten nowhere. I am fighting this through PayPal as well as through my bank. This borders on the crimninal.

The customer service is abhorrent. The worst. Pillow protectors are garbage. The pillow protectors bite you as you sleep. This company needs government vetting. Not organic! This product is not as organic as they claim. I wish I had not wasted my hard earned money. I wanted to love this company so much!!! They don’t vet their farm for real organic certifications. Seems off- something is wrong, somewhere. Organic should not bite or zap you with bites as you sleep! That is an industrial byproduct of contaminated substances that were used. I’ve done the research because I have to be organically safe. The company has a great concept but this company needs a check up. I just loved their advertisement and product line, but a company has to live by its claims and care for the customers. Not just fleece the consumer without ensuring that their products are truly made safe. They even claim to have their own farm in Sri Lanka. I really need this company to improve. Their items are so beautiful. I’m still a fan, but hate the run around for simple fixes. It’s apparently a lack of care for customers. They don’t show care, just rhetoric. I hope they do better. I want them to do great.
