Can't recommend. We purchased a mattress in 2021 and it was amazing - great quality and lots of support. We ordered the same type again in 2024 - it was a completely different mattress. Not nearly as supportive and caused my husband back pain. When I reached out, they gaslit with a boiler plate AI response saying it could be a different bed frame, etc. They changed the construction and won't admit to it. I would not recommend their new mattresses - they sag and cause orthopedic issues.

Avocado should adhere to Truth in Advertising and remove misleading statement from their website "The scent is harmless and will dissipate within a few days." It does NOT dissipate within a few days. Initially it smells like a tire shop mixed with a barnyard. After waiting for 2 weeks, I asked the salesperson how long it normally takes for odor to dissipate - she said: "30 days". Since the Company knows full well that it takes at least 30 days for the odor to dissipate, they should air them out at the factory for as long as it takes before shipping a $5000+ mattress to customers to deal with the odors. I was hoping that 30 days would be enough, so far I've been waiting for 5.5 weeks and despite running direct fan + window exhaust fan 24/7 plus 2 air purifiers about 30%-40% of the odor still persists and does not subside. Had it been disclosed in advance that there is a strong odor that does not go away, I would not have placed the order. Now I have a $5000 mattress I never laid on yet occupying a bedroom for 5.5 weeks. I expect Avocado management to reach out to me for a solution.

I would rate lower if possible, but 1 star is the lowest AVOCADO MATTRESS: WORST COMPANY EVER Zero customer service. Product arrived beat up and broken, Avocado is no help passing the buck for 2 weeks so far...$1000 spent ZERO Customer Service

My husband and I purchased an Avocado Eco mattress and unfortunately it did not work well for either of us. We gave it a fair trial, but both experienced ongoing discomfort and were disappointed with the product. What was even more disappointing was the customer service experience. We initiated a return request during the sleep trial period and communicated with Avocado regarding our concerns. During this process, I was heavily pregnant and later caring for a newborn. While I acknowledge that I missed follow-up communications, we did make good-faith efforts to begin the return process within the trial window. Over the following months, I spent a significant amount of time attempting to work directly with Avocado to find a resolution. The case was escalated multiple times, and Avocado acknowledged that outreach occurred during the trial period. However, because the return was not completed within their required timeframe, they ultimately denied a refund. At one point, Avocado offered full store credit for the mattress value, but that offer later expired and was withdrawn. The final outcome was that no return, refund, or store credit was provided. I understand companies need policies, but I expected more flexibility and customer care from a premium mattress brand, especially given that the return process was initiated during the trial period. Instead, we are left with a mattress that neither of us enjoys sleeping on and no meaningful resolution despite months of communication and escalation attempts. Based on both the product and the customer service experience, I cannot recommend Avocado.

SCAM! dangerous company. Terrible customer service. Fake promises on their website. Toxic materials. Never buying from them again. So sad wasted thousands of dollars with this company.

Ordered pillows and my order confirmation said they were "completed and ready to ship." I get charged immediately and nearly 2 weeks goes by and not a single update. I finally messaged them and get a reply from a bot, have to argue with the bot to get to a human. By the time I get to a human, I just want to cancel the order. The human replies to my order with some nonsense that they will be ready to ship by the end of the week. I reply again saying please cancel and the human sends me the exact same message. I was only able to finally get a cancellation and refund when I threatened to dispute the charge on my credit card. Absolutely awful customer service and experience. Avoid this company!

The pictures on the website are misleading. I thought I was ordering a bed frame; close to 200.00 later I got four planks for under the mattress made from some wood and some particle board. The day I opened the box, I called. They said they would honor the return. They sent an email and said, do xyz and get a shipping label. Message read: "Item not eligible for return." It supposedly has a 100 day return policy and this is day one. No one has responded since. Never again.

Does not honor return. Asks for some label on it and says they cannot accept the return even though they are going to donate it. Literal scam. had me sending images all via email of all sides. complete waste my time and 10 emails then saying they wont give refund. absolutely never buy from this company ever on anyhting.
