The worst payment system company!! Their customer service is absolutely horrible. They don’t know what’s going on and we’ve been waiting for four months to get paid.

The user interface for their portal is okay. It has a modern look and you have large search & reporting capabilities. But customer service wise, they are terrible. If you have to call you often have long wait times. I have gotten a rude response to simple questions multiple times. They have taken hours to respond to a chat message before. They also fired all their human coders use AI to 'read' their invoices and input information and it does not work at all. We now have someone who is dedicated to to just recoding invoices all day (what is the point of this system). They have a 'capture' for any invoices they could not code using their AI and we end up with hundreds of invoices in the queue. We get complaints from vendors constantly. If you are looking into a new system I would not recommend. Either hire another human or find a better company.

Customer service is a dead end. No power to create or change outcomes. The system is very slow for processing payments and fails to follow any payment instructions on an invoice. Creates more issues than it solves.

Great scam.... Clients pays you cash, You keep the cash (invest those funds in a Fund for less than 30 days, Make interest on it) Then pay vendor with A credit card, Then wait 30 days to pay the card balance. get Cashback and other perks because you used a credit card to pay.. Meaning get paid 3 times.. from the client that hired you and from Holding the funds and paying with a Card..

In theory this service sounds like a good idea that will save time on payment processing, but in reality they have cause us so much more work. Nothing about their system works the way they say it does. Virtually every payment we used AvidPay to issue has come back with an issue which causes more work, research, late fees and unhappy vendors for us. We only used the service a few times before realizing how awful it is and months later we are still dealing with the repercussions and having to fix their issues. As everyone else has also noted, the customer service is worthless. Absolutely would never recommend any business, big or small, to use this service.

AvidXchange is horribly understaffed. I've spent hours on hold and have submitted support requests, all without receiving any kind of response, whatsoever. I am considering firing my customers who insist on using this platform that for all intents and purposes doesn't appear to have any staff!

I am a vendor that receives payments from customers through them. I just got a call from them about "new developments" they wanted to share. They pushed me into logging into the portal (no issue there, but I don't need it), but then they pushed me to use the feature to get immediate payment where they then go collect from the customer (??). Said I didn't want to do it since there's a fee, got pressured, told them I have no need to do and I wouldn't be enrolling. Immediately told "thanks, have a great day" and click. Very shady stuff with this.

HORRIBLE! Just horrible! Customer service is the worse. High turn over to the point where you might talk to someone today and they might not be there tomorrow. You have to be on hold for an hour before someone gets to you with the wrong information. They are never in the same page, a rep will tell you something and the next will contradict everything said in the new call. Nightmare!! I’m not sure how they are still in business. Very condescending when you prove them wrong or go against what they tell you even if you have proof of what you’re talking about. They will withdraw money you don’t owe and it will be impossible to get it back unless you get nasty with them. I’m so frustrated with them and their crappy services. Add on: In response to their response.. NO ONE is working with me, no one has even had the descency to call me about all this. I keep getting emails saying my case numbers are being closed without someone even attempting to help me with them. The only email I received was with wrong information and pretty much telling me that it is what it is and I have to deal with it.
