Seven weeks and still no payment A client of mine pays vendors through AvidXchange, which requires first-time vendors to receive a physical check. My payment was issued August 24, 2026, and has been lost in the mail twice. After hours on the phone with multiple reps and supervisors, I was finally promised ACH direct deposit last Friday. When I called today, I learned they had overnighted a check to my old address instead. The manager could see in the notes that this was never discussed. Nothing they committed to was honored. Small business owners shouldn’t have to beg for money they’ve already earned. Many people can’t go two months without a payment they’re counting on. If you’re a vendor paid through AvidXchange, ask for ACH from day one and get every commitment in writing.

We have been having connectivity issues to the portal more than normal. We have had downtime with invoice Capture and Avid Admin - batching invoices into MRI. This seems to be a recurring issue the last 2 months. I also want to mention some complaints from vendors about the outreach. It is being done too often. They re not getting full explanations about the additional costs associated with ACH and Virtual payments. This feedback is being heard from multiple unaffiliated vendors. Otherwise AvidXhange has been a great partner. The ease of invoice approval and payment.

Overall, I am very happy with the service we are receiving. The service has been reliable, and overall our experience has been positive. One area that could be improved is the process for addressing issues or questions. Currently, when something comes up, we have to communicate through email rather than having a phone number or direct contact available. While email works for routine matters, having the option to speak with someone directly would be very helpful when an issue is time-sensitive or requires more clarification. Overall, we are pleased with the service and appreciate the support we receive. Adding a more direct method of communication would make an already good service even better.

It just saves so much time on payables and expense checks

This is the worst company ever, don't touch AVID. Our checks have travelled the entire country and they are still not here, we have missed employee payroll, we are dealing with employee morale something that we never dealt with. It took AVID a month and some change to give us visibility to the payment processing. We have used Bill.com for over 10 years and never faced these troubles. Use Bill.com do not sign up for Avid.
