If there was an option to give negative 5stars I would.
This is the worst buying experience I have ever had. I ordered a transmission from them that lasted 50 miles. But that is not the worst of it. Ordered transmission in March. Waited a couple days for a order number and tracking. I had to call to get this information. I only got a order number because the shipping was to take about 4 times longer than the 14 days promised on the web site. This company which is also got all auto parts has a very hard time with communication. I called so many times and got no answer, when they did answer they gave me the run around. They Would say the person you need to talk to is not in right now but we will give him a message for you. Then I would never get a call back. So then 2 months later I called and got a tracking number. Transmission shows up. Transmission was barely cleaned off before they sprayed it with silver paint. I installed the transmission and was worried about them maybe not putting a filter in it so I tried calling over and over to confirm with them that the tranny had a filter in it. They never did answer the phone. So I took the pan off of the tranny to find it did have a filter in it. Now this is the best part. Their transmissions are supposed to be tested. This one was bone dry inside. This unit had not been tested. After 50 miles the transmission locked up. So at this point I try to call again and again. I emailed over and over. No response. Then they actually answered the phone. Guess what, the guy I needed to talk to was out and would call me back. He never called. So I called his personal phone number that he gave me when he called me about the shipping address being a residential address. I was told the office girl would call me with info for shipping this junk back before they would send a replacement. Guess what, they never called. So I tried calling and emailing for another month. This transmission is in my only means of transportation. So at this point I have no choice but to have the transmission repaired at my brother in laws transmission shop. This thing was a wreck. Bad pump, bad solenoids , pinched gaskets, and a shorted out harness. This cost me $1900+ to have rebuilt. So I called them again, they answered after about 10 calls this time. I was told that who I needed to talk to about some sort of monetary compensation was out but she would let them know and they would call back. So more emails, more callS, and more frustration. I filed a complaint with the BBB. Didn’t get a response till I sent the owner a pissed off email. They responded to the complaint from the BBB by saying it is out of our hands the customer had the transmission repaired. So I am now working with the Michigan attorney generals office to get some sort of satisfaction. So my advice to anyone who reads this is Do Not purchase or trust this company to do the right thing. By the way both the BBB and the Michigan attorney generals office know this company well. I see their responses to these reviews and can’t help but laugh at their hubris. They blame their issues on COVID over and over. They used that excuse when my shipping took so long, but the the girl in the office let it slip that they couldn’t find a 93 4L60E. I ordered a rear end for my blazer the same day I ordered this transmission, it had to be pulled out of a truck and shipped from Michigan to Texas and it took 2 weeks. So never expect the truth out of them. Their claim of being so good that they have been in business for 17 years should never reach 18 years at their current rate of customer service. In response to A transmissions reply: I installed the transmission the first time.installed by eagle transmissions after they rebuilt it Yes we used the transmission you provided. After $1900 dollars worth of parts and labor to make it work. How do you expect people to trust your warranty when you will not communicate with your customers once you receive payment. Where did you read the transmission had no fluid in it? Your response is inaccurate and personally offensive. You left me high and dry by not communicating when it mattered, when the transmission locked up I couldn’t get you to answer a phone. Your mailboxes were all full so couldn’t leave a message, and never got any response to email till legal action threatened. Do you expect your customers to wait for months for you to respond? So Jeff Madison and Kevin Karwack if you payed someone to ship you a product that you needed to insure you could provide for your families and it was broken with a 5 year warranty but you couldn’t get the company you got it from to respond to any of your communications. What would you do? Let your family starve??? Well that’s the position you put me in. MCPA-331. Response to this is lies. These guys are liars. There has only been 2 transmissions in this truck. The original and theirs. They make it up as the go along. Buyer beware.

This gentlemen respectfully purchased a transmission, back in March and had it installed... around April 4th-8th. per customer within 50 miles transmission locked up or torque converter one or the other not there to determine true cause... Honestly, this can be backed by fact if anyone wants to do any honest research. There are a multitude of factors that can cause a rebuilt transmission to fail prematurely or within a short period of time which are not all related to inside of transmission. We have helped customers fix hundreds of transmissions that either had computer issues, or pressure problems, or fuse issue, leaks at plug where plugged in, restricted coolers or lines, etc etc etc. Not just saying that anyone who knows anything knows that is true and I do not mean it rude. We are not perfect 17 years in business over 1000 reviews all real and though due to covid we have had more lately we are doing really a lot to correct the service issues. Truthfully. Think about it like this, We are a TS16949 Certified manufacturing organization specializing in Factory rebuilt automatic transmissions. Our assembly line process has greatly improved efficiency and quality of product especially on 4L60e's and we pump about 30-45 per month out of here. Customer , per his words, had transmission installed and it must have worked fine because they went ahead and decided to use it which is understandable. Within 50 miles per customer transmission burnt up. Very important EVERYONE PLEASE READ THIS! Our factory rebuilt automatic transmissions on only comes with about a quart if that of lube guard product which is an assembly and testing lubricant. We do not, and cannot fill these transmissions up with fluid, 1 they hold about 11.5 quarts of fluid.. You cannot fill the transmission and ship it because it would pour out of the overflow tube and cause EPA cleanup and problems. Think about it intelligently, if that transmission wasn't checked to see if fluid was in it and it was installed without fluid, I rest my case. I am surprised it went 50 miles and inside would be totally black and destroyed... Everyone please understand, we still would have given this guy another transmission period, but he just went and had it fixed. If no fluid was in it, it definitely wont work and anyone and everyone reading this would know that. Mr. Warman, we will still allow you a 5 year warranty even against the one the shop rebuild, but I can't pay for your and or shop mistakes, but we are nice people and will assist you regardless. Thanks Oct. 12, 2020 Final response, Got all auto parts and atransmission.com is not perfect. We have about 5-6 % warranty percentage nationally ranking in the top 5 suppliers in the nation. Noone, needs 4 transmissions in 1 year, also transmissions cannot be shipped with fluid inside due to EPA reasons if it spills the cleanup is astronomical in cost and fines. Everyone should check the transmission prior to installation its just common sense. Also, the testing we perform is Bench testing and electrical in nature and does not require a dyno. A shop has put three transmissions in for this person and said they were all good charged him and let him leave the facility. It is not our fault that a good working transmission keeps burning up on him. He needs to figure out why? Several reasons not the one he is thinking of. Anyone that is reasonable in thinking and mechanical minded will understand what I am saying.
