I've used Trello and Basecamp in the past, but Asana feels like the best fit for me. I like the flexibility of the My Tasks view, which you can set up as a list or board with your own section headers. It integrates with Filestage too, which is great, so I can auto-assign content review tasks with due dates, instead of chasing reviewers manually.

Reporting is very bad (basically non-existent). Also, many features are limited. I want to export a list of tags, so I can analyze data, but it's not possible.

Asana itself is helpfull but they are ripping you off. They let me pay €140 in 40 days for two users This, because i had a subscription for 5 seats, don't know why and never asked for that. They probably did it to rip me off. When i told them about it they said i could use that money as credits for when i would downgrade to two seats. Because a refund wasn't a option. Now i'm canceling their whole program and my money is gone. Thanks for nothing! I'll step over to JIRA!

Great tool to keep track of tasks and create overview of processes.

Had a horrible experience with customer service, going back and forth for over a month trying to coordinate the migration from one account to another. The representative took up to 4 days to respond to some of my emails. Most of the communication from the rep was clearly scripted, as he often repeated the same exact script to multiple different emails and questions. The migration was finally scheduled. However I got no confirmation it was complete. When I signed into my account, nothing had changed. I am trying to reach out to support again - knowing I probably wont hear back for another couple of days. My company pays for a premium membership and this has been a disastrous experience as a paying client.

Asana is great task management tool that help small team do meaningful connection between small task and big projects goals.

Asana provided me with probably the worst experience with an online 'trial' of a product that I have had to suffer through since the beginning of the internet - and yes I am that old. For a product that proposes efficiency in project management it managed to bury the cancel trial function so deep under an infinite loop of impossibilities that it literally drove me mad. I have always said you can tell how honest an IT outfit is by how deep it buries the cancel button, how easy it is to upgrade and how impossible it makes ending auto account payments. On these metrics Asana is the most corrupt outfit I've had the misfortune to engage with.
