It's the worst Project and ticket management software I've ever seen. It's so unintuitive to use, doesn't allow for proper subtasks management, keyboard shortcuts are out of this world, it's absolutely unflexible, so you can't do your processes, but you have to adjust to the software.

Frustrating Experience with Asana
I recently tried using Asana for project management, and unfortunately, it has been a disappointing experience. The interface is cluttered and unintuitive, making it challenging to navigate through tasks efficiently. The app tends to lag, causing delays and hindering productivity. Additionally, the integration with other tools is not seamless, leading to constant syncing issues. Overall, Asana falls short in providing a smooth and user-friendly project management solution.

Spammers.
Spammers.
Your clueless website is sending loads of unsolicited e-mails to me only because somebody I don't know mistakenly indicated me as their collaborator. Those e-mails have no option to unsubscribe the flood of spam e-mails, which I believe is unlawful, by the way. I even tried to contact you, to no avail. Stop harassing me.

Our company used Asana for about a year…
Our company used Asana for about a year to help with our project management tracking for our content team. A lot of moving pieces through that period of time and the team seemed to enjoy using it. A few problems here and there, but in general it was okay.
We decide to switch systems to include more of an all inclusive software to track billing, but keep this system for one or two people for personal use. A year later those people are longer with the company and our team forgets about Asana.
Annual billing comes around the corner and we see a charge on our statement. We try to call, there's no number, we reach out and don't get a response. 4 months later, still dealing with this issue and "per their policy" they don't provide refunds even though we haven't used their system since February 2023. The billing happened in September 2023 for the upcoming year. So now we're out of luck.
Dealing with their customer service team has been absolutely miserable. The worst team I've ever had to deal with and they've provide no help what so ever. They charge you and give you the runaround. There's better project management system out there and these companies actually work with their clients.
Do yourself a favor and use a different software to keep you and your team organized.

Too much focus on sale instead of customer needs
Had a user 10 years ago and didn’t find asana useful for my use case. Got asana recommended and wanted to evaluate the system again. Asked the chatbot for a trial, but since it was out of office hours, I got prompted to enter my email address, so that someone could contact me. No one ever contacted me.
I used the chatbot again, but this time within office hours. Was asked about my email and name and the bot found me a human to talk to. I stated my wish for trial and was asked to tell the company representative my name (again). Referred to the answer I had already given and was then asked questions, unrelated to my wish for a trial, about how many was in my company and how many was expected to use their product. I stated that it was for personal use, but the questions kept coming. Stopped the conversation and ended up wasting my time.
Edit: Just received a follow up email, that can be summed up “Hi, we lost you, how can we help your business”, although I told them it would have been for personal use.
Based on the reviews here, it seems the energy should be channeled into helping existing customers, and not bother new customers that told them they weren’t interested anyway, due to their extensive questioning.
Asana: Help your existing and future customers swiftly with their needs when they contact you, and stop wasting potential new customers time with sales questions that don’t benefit them. You lost a potential customer, that could have recommended your product to “a bigger fish”.
