I have provided Artisan Hardware barn doors on 3 projects in the past 6 months. The product always meets or exceeds expectations, and the Bldg Owners have been very happy with the doors. AH is quickly becoming the go-to for our Customer’s needs for upscale & affordable barn doors.

Material for the sliding door hardware was good quality and arrived quickly.Pricing seemed fair and customization options worked for us.We liked the selection of accessories. The biggest difficulty is that the parts come with no directions, no description of what the pieces are for. The customer service is helpful if you call but, as I ordered this for an installer to put in at a job site, it would be nice to get a packing list and a basic blowup of where things go. We didn't even know what some pieces were as they were not in the description of the kit I ordered. We will see how it all goes together. I will probably use them again if the final installation goes well.

We ordered our first barn door from artisan hardware and we were happy we did! We have never owned a barn door so we opted to have everything delivered preassembled. When the door was delivered it was completely secured in its packaging. It wasn’t going anywhere. The door itself was very heavy and the packaging made it even heavier. We brought the door in the house and assembly was very easy. We are very happy with our product. We initially ordered a handle For the door but opted not to install the handle because we had to etch into the door for the knob we chose. We weren’t confident in our etching skills so we just went out and bought a knob that stuck out from hobby lobby.

Overall we are pleased with our sliding door from Artisan Hardware, however we did experience a few issues. Initially we received the wrong door, but Artisan Hardware was quick to take care of the error and it only cost us a little extra time waiting for it to be delivered. Our second issue was once we hung the door we discovered the door was bowed and did have a small crack in the wood. It took a little planning but we hung the side with the crack against the wall and have made it work. I am happy to support a product made in the USA and we have had many compliments on the door. We stained the door before we hung it and by staining it ourselves were able to guarantee the color was what we wanted.

The barn door was sent to me with a gliding rail too broad to fit beneath the door wheel. The door wheel was made of wood, which was a surprise as I expected the hardware to be of metal composition. The door had gashes in it. The horizontal panel buckled. I articulated my complaints, w photos and was assured someone would contact me within 24 hours. This did not happen. I had to again seek out someone to hear my concerns, describe my concerns and send photos to yet another person. My concerns remain, at this moment, under review. I am hopeful that Artisan Hardware will appropriately address the situation.

Purchased a barn door and associated hardware. Came as promised and with easy to use instructions for mounting of the hardware to the door and the associated wall. Looks great and will allow me to continue sleeping while my wife is dressing in the morning in our previously open bathroom. Takes up less room than a pre-hung swinging door so a great space saver.
