ArmoireReviews of armoire.style

Not only the service allows me to try new styles, they are very attentive each time I reach out. Excellent product and customer service!

I've been with this service for many years and what I love about it is the wide array of clothes and options. The customer service (through online chat) is also very professional and fast. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the length of time it takes to process the returns. You are able to receive your next set of clothes when the ones you have returned are marked as returned. This period can take at a minimum over 1 week and as long as 2 weeks plus, and when paying a monthly subscription fee, that period should be improved to be shortened.

The Armoire team went above and beyond to get me a wedding/honeymoon case. I missed the cut off for pick up and they still got it to me. The customer support team is truly first class. Thank you so much!

I've been renting from Armoire since 2019 and have loved everything about it! New styles are always available. The app is easy to use. When I need help support is always great and I love their added styling feature either with a custom online closet or in person styling in Seattle.

So I really want to love this service but it does feel inferior to other competitors in the market, specifically Nuuly. For $10 more you can get 6 items/month from Nuuly. In terms of variety of items, on paper Armoire appears to have a great selection. After having membership for 14 months and really digging into the inventory, I’ve found the following: some items NEVER become available, I’m talking over a 6 month period. So there’s very little opportunity to rent a number of the styles. The items are very worn and kept in circulation all past their prime. In regards to the ability to purchase items that you rent, I’ve found very little value in this. I have noticed that multiple items I’ve rented are available from the manufacturer or other outlet for a significantly cheaper price. For example, I rented a pair of Vegan leather Michael Stars leggings. The price to purchase on Armoire is $111, they are final sale on Michael Stars for $32. I think any rational human can guess which outlet I purchased from. This stuff is shady and insulting. Y’all do know we all have the same internet, right? Update: Feb 2024 Armoire team, thank you for taking the time to reply. I have since purchased other items from the service because they offer some truly awesome pieces! I would also like to say Armoire’s customer service is top notch- I’ve never walked away from an exchange feeling disappointed with the service. A big shout out to Jayla and Nicolette for all of their hardwork!

I use Armoire to spark up my rather basic wardrobe. I choose styles that are ultra beautiful, many in prints that I don’t necessarily want to own forever. I have also purchased many items that I would not have found in stores on my own. The tricky aspect is deciding on fit. I have gotten items that are too big or too small. This is the fault of the garment industry (in which I work!), that does not have standardized sizing. It helps to know brands and how they fit. Overall, it has been an enjoyable experience over the last two years.

Good clothes that did help me feel more myself during pregnancy. However, there was consistently 1 damaged product in every wardrobe I received. CS would offer a bonus item the next round but that meant I was missing a planned article from my pregnancy wardrobe for the month. Often, I had a special professional event (eg a talk) that I then had to improvise for. The inconsistent quality ruined my experience.

Love this company so much! I get so many compliments on the pieces I rent! It’s great to be able to try things I might not have chosen for myself with a stylist’s case and to get able to do a trial run on styles before investing in them long term.
