Edit: the payment issue has now been sorted. My wife had placed the order rather than me which is why you couldn't identify the order. The multiple charges on PayPal have been resolved. We had an issue with the boots but ariat were quick to resolve it this time so hopefully their customer service is improving again. Happy to increase rating to 4 stars as boots are nice. Products are good but customer service is the worst I have experienced online. They do not reply to emails, pick up the phone or reply to phone messages. Every time I contact them they just put through the charge again! I have been charged 3 times for the same order. Everytime I complain to them they charge me again. I am now going to try and claim back through PayPal and if that doesn't work I will have to drive to their base near Didcot. If I do buy anything in the future I will go through a retailer I trust rather than buying directly. Such a shame as they used to be so good.

Had a bad experience with Ariat involving them sending me someone else’s order and then refusing to send the correct item until I returned the item. I received a hot, pink kids western shirt that was significantly less expensive than the product I actually ordered, which was a women’s water resistant jacket. It was extremely difficult to talk to an actual human and they were very unhelpful and non-apologetic. They said it was company policy to not send the correct item, even though it was their error, and they couldn’t save or put aside a jacket in case it went out of stock. By the time they processed the return, the jacket I wanted was no longer available. They gave me a 20% off coupon and offered no apologizes. It was a big head ache/more trouble than it was worth. They lost me as a customer. I had been buying stuff from them since they first started as a business.

I haven't even completed my purchase but am already so incensed that I may purchase elsewhere. I have been looking at a pair of boots for months, and when I was ready to purchase I decided to accept their 10% of offer. As usual, they asked for my email and phone number (which I hate). After texts to ask me to confirm, I finally got an email which informed my that my discount code had already been redeemed or expired (I have never made a purchase before). Then, just a few minutes later, I got another email from a 3rd party service spamming me with another promotion. I feel overwhelmed by bad marketing automation and haven't even checked out yet. Gross.

Not being harassed by staff was a gd experience.however what i would like to see in australian stores or even at eastern creek quarters western sydney is a bigger variety of boots to touch feel try on like more bench mades or ones you see on youtube reviews made in america like the ramblers,futurity ranges like cashouts or showmans.,even some roughouts or pythons etc would be good.boots to try on before buying and more size widths for aussie market pretty please

I do love the jeans but service direct with Ariat, is very poor. I have placed two orders over past few months, both orders had the wrong length jeans in them. On my first order that was wrong, I tried contact customers services online and messages were unanswered for over a week, in the end I emailed. Reply was blunt, unapologetic and send them back. Second order that was wrong, I tried calling half a dozen time, "we are experiencing high volume of calls, your wait time is over 10 minutes' I have a feeling this is standard and they don't have a clue as after 5 minutes, I get told to leave a message and the call cuts off. They have no intention of letting you hold on, probably because they do not want to hear how bad they are. It is a shame as their jeans and tops are great but I am not sure if this is now enough to keep my attention. I have a feeling they won't give two hoots anyway.

The Rebar WorkFlow Ultralight 9" DuraStretch Shorts I bought looked good but the waist sizing is too large by a full size. Another beef I have is the fact that they use velcro tabs to close the back flaps. It takes two hands just to open them to put in a wallet or phone. I tried washing in hot water to shrink but it didn't work. Very frustrating. Both these things make these shorts unwearable so I threw them out.

The shoes are great. However customer service is HORRIBLE. Here is my story: bought 2 shoes, returned 1 pair & got refund, exchanged the second pair and they didnt work out, so then i decided to refund the second shoe, no refund yet -- waiting its been 6-8 weeks. They do not know how to review your full account. They lie and say they have reviewed and confirmed your information and what you are needing. It took 3, maybe 4 phone calls to **fingers crossed** hopefully to get it right. The first call, the lady was nice and sweet and said that my info has gotten stuck in limbo and she was going to get it expedited and worked out, please allow the 8-12 business days. I gave this lady 15 days, I then called again. This time I spoke with Joyce, she addressed the issue and said she sees my info and will work on it now and get it to me. I was like yes! sweet! Then about 2 hours later I got an email, saying that my shoe had already been refunded and that it has been addressed. Lady, no! I BOUGHT 2 PAIRS OF SHOES, 1 SHOE RETURNED. THE 2ND SHOE I GOT 1 SIZE BIGGER TO SEE IF THAT WOULD WORK. IT DID NOT, SO I RETURNED IT. GOT MY CONFIRMED RETURN ON THE SECOND SHOE -- EVEN ON ARIAT.COM THERE IT WAS RECEIVED ON 6/5/26. So I screenshot my acct on Ariat, my bank --to show no refund on the second shoe. I got so irritated, I then called them back and i am not sure the man i spoke with --sorry i was irritated. I let him know the whole story -- again! He reviewed and after a few minutes he came back on the line and advised he sees the error on another Order # and has corrected it and to allow 3-5 busniess days for refund to appear. I advise that i will be calling every 3-5 days until the money returns. We then proceeded to have a heated discussion. I advise that it is ironic that the first sentence when calling says "Returns are easy" -- I advised to him that this should be removed, as clearly it is not easy. He wanted to argue with me about the error. I advised they are Ariat and they see my orders and can see the shoes that have been ordered (pry for the last year) and they should obviously be able to see the trail, as i can on Ariat.com under my acct. Advised that i clearly let everyone know my issue. I am not sure why no one could look at it and clearly see 2 shoes ordered, 1 monotary refund completed. Anywho..... Please be mindful when ordering. Great shoes, but returns/refunds are no so easy -- as it seems to be hard for the customer service reps. Extremely hard to hear them, even with the volume on 100%
