Bait and switch which cost thousands of dollars! We were originally charged a fee for not agreeing to an audit. The reason we didn't agree is due to the financial reports they wanted to access along with private company information. Our charges were originally $3,000. In order to reduce the $3k fee were instructed to agree to the audit. We agreed and proceeded to pay the reduced amount of $2,000. Once the audit was completed we were billed again but this time it was for $30,000! Once we questioned this new bill it was reduced to $11,000. We were referred to Amtrust by ADP Insurance dept. No one at Amtrust and ADP Insurance is helping sort these fees and the misguidance we've received.

Absolutely terrible experience dealing with AmTrust. They quoted us around $780 for a 1-year policy and then at the end of the year conducted an audit in which they completely disregarded our actual payroll and decided they would multiply it by 10X and are trying to bill me an extra $8,000+. Completely criminal and a nightmare to deal with. STAY AWAY.

This company is terrible to deal with. I will be turning them in to the BBB. The website is impossible to use and we have been unable to talk with an agent.

Will be contacting FCA as we have missed CML dates for handover of plots. Will also be taking legal action for the losses. Complete waste of company.

I just attempted to pay an audit amount for my AP intego insurance policy. The online payment option said "not available for this policy" and when I called the phone number, it said my credit card could not be processed. I then waited for awhile on hold and got a representative who told me you have to press # after typing in your CC # and expiration date, which is never stated when you call their number. This whole process was extremely frustrating and could cause people to not make their payments timely, which could affect their credit score.

Absolutely disgusting scamming company!! Had caravan insurance with them, had our caravan for just under a year, no leaks, no damp, nothing! Moving it the one day we hit a very large/deep pot hole - thought nothing of it, got home, following week went in our caravan and there was water leaking from the rain causing damp, called Davis group who were our underwriters - who told me I was covered as was fully comp for everything, in my eyes this was accidental damage causing it, they sent an engineer who deemed it "uneconomical repair (2004 caravan) - we was then strung along being told it was going to be repaired - then we had another phone call saying the claim was declined and we wasn't covered as the terms of our policy was that we were liable for any servicing of seals etc - asked for it to be reviewed and made a complaint, to be strung along by Amstrust for months (in this time the damp got worse where the lights stopped working and the fuse box caught fire) to be told their investigation was complete and we wasn't being paid out for it - we are now £5500 out of pocket as we had no choice but to scrap it and Amtrust are no help at all, they do and try anything to get out of paying - from no leaks or anything to hitting a pot hole and it start leaking - second opinion through a friend of a friend is that the pothole would have jigged the van about a bit causing seals to break = accidental damage...... do not insure anything with them at all, sly, corrupt insurance company- STAY AWAY!

Been trying to get ahold of them for months to cash a claim over a failed property construction. Literally, they just ignore you. No answer at all despite of several emails and phone calls. They are not helpful at all. When asked questions about the documents, they just answer like robots. They are making it very difficult to claim our money. They will Try to make you exhausted of their procedures and requests and give up...

I got burn bad at my job.Through the whole worksman comp process my claim adjuster has lied and avoided me. I was off work for 3 weeks before i received a single payment.I have a family.When he finally reached out to me he was Very RUDE as if he was doing me a favor.I went through so much pain and suffering.I almost lost my family behind the stress. I now have a permanent scare on my hand.My kids try not to stare at it during dinner time.My grands are scared of my hand.it takes 2to 3 days for my adjuster to respond and he only do it through email!!! Im thinking i need to talk with an attorney.I may need therpy! This company needs to train their employees
