They are the worst dental insurance ever! They first denied payment for a cleaning & exam. I had to call them several times to figure out why it was denied. I got a different answer every time. They eventually only paid $72 towards that claim. I am supposed to go in every 3-4 months for periodontal maintenance. They again are denying charges indicating they only cover 1 visit every 6 months. I contacted them again regarding their response and they stated it was in my plan that they only cover this once every 6 months. They told me they would send me a benefits package and I should receive it within 7-14 days. I am still waiting. Cleanings used to be free but not with them

I am an english and spanish speaker. My expirience was terrible! i will be writing a review in english and spanish so everyone knows not to depend on this company!! If I had the option to give zero or 0 stars, I would give them. They are useless, they always take my payment from my account. I have been with you for 3 years. They promised to give me 70 percent and they don't want to pay the bill. I can solve the problem. Dental insurance - deducted premiums for months never a phone call, email welcome packet, only the monthly deduction. When I noticed the charges and called to inquire, they had a dental policy on me but I already had another policy. Someone signed me up and Ameritas was quietly deducting monthly

Cancelled my Dental Policy today. America's Dental only paid $60 of $210 they said they would pay for cleaning and x-rays. LIARS! Did not receive information they said they sent me.

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I bought this dental insurance. I’ve been paying for it over a year and I go into the doctors office to get x-rays and exam. She submitted it to the insurance company and they paid a measly two bucks. I would never recommend the dental insurance. It’s really really sad that they will scam people like us. When you’re buying dental insurance, make sure there’s no waiting. Period to get the work done and also no missing tooth clause I’m learning about this.

They deserve a Zero star. I'm retired and don't even know how they started charging me. I have never received any documents regarding a Policy, only a couple of letters complaining about no payment and that my account would be closed...But then kept on charging my Bank anyway with amounts from $69.85 to $139.70 and then $209.55, at which point, because my account with Deerwood Bank was way overdrawn the Bank closed my account! I have the Fraud department looking into this and I want every Dollar charged to be refunded to Deerwood Bank Stat!

Closed my account and charged me 25 dollars with no notice and sent my money to another company I think they own or are in cahoots with. How can a company take money from an investment authorized by me without my permission?

These people are thieves, zero customer service, and are on the threshold of being prohibited from offering there products in Oregon. After purchasing an immediate withdrawal annuity (I’m 70), with $250,000.00 cash. My agent, who called the home office, was told, “overnight the application and check before Labor Day, we will set it up for 9/1 payout monthly”. Needless to say this was a straight up lie, passed on to me. Writing this today on 10/17, with no payment, other than looking at this “account online”, showed they waited until 9/11 to set up policy, disbursement entered 10/12, nothing. Granted, Federal Holiday, and ACH process time, but the high pressure tactic of “you’re losing $54.00 a day”. I wrote the check 8/27 and it was overnighted to the home office before Labor Day. I have file a complaint with the State of Oregon’s Insurance Commissioner and the matter is under investigation. Meanwhile I don’t have my my $250K, which could at a minimum could be sitting collecting 5% in a variety of short term banking options.
