Been with them for years,moved told em to move autopay to the 1st, just found out that they didn't listen moved it to the 24th and I'm a retiree and they took my last food money and now I have to go hungry, they hate American Veterans and this country. Look at the way they treated me!? Talk about what how you made me go hungry because you refused to listen to me,the customer, you made it all about you, you even made me go hungry here in America the country I served. Despicable behavior to our veterans. I'll tell you cockroaches one thing if I was employed at your company,that veteran would not go hungry, even if it meant sending it out of my own pocket via Western Union. But scumbag companies don't do that because they hate our veterans.

Do not trust this company with your personal information. Their underwriting department engages in gross data fabrication. They took basic, proactive marriage counseling from my past and intentionally twisted it on my record as a clinical "Anxiety Disorder" to artificially inflate my risk profile. Let me be perfectly clear: I have never had a clinical diagnosis of anxiety, and my attending physician explicitly confirmed there is zero clinical basis for it. Yet, this company weaponized these distorted, false medical markers and published them to the global MIB clearinghouse, blacklisting me from getting standard insurance coverage across the entire domestic market. When caught red-handed, their compliance and dispute department completely failed. Their "reinvestigation" is a fraudulent rubber-stamp operation. They willfully refused to fix their verified inaccuracies, actively engaging in corporate defamation. They operate with a total disregard for the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and have caused me immediate, severe financial damage. They are reckless, incompetent, and fully prepared to sabotage a consumer's life rather than admit an underwriting mistake. I am actively escalating this case before the CFPB, the FTC, and the State Insurance Commissioner. Take your business anywhere else unless you want your reputation ruined by corporate data fabricators.

There was a fraudulent account set up and I found that for 4 years, I was paying for insurance I didnt need! Looks like a similar payment on our statements, but we were helped by a guy named Gavin who was very informative, and great! but the Admin Lady above him not so nice. She was very rude, talking over me basically stating that we were " lucky Gavin Helped us because she wouldnt have given us the refund". We were still trying to establish what was going on, and the ( Sounded foreign) woman on the phone was very sarcastic, even commented that it wasnt their fault I didnt see the charge for such a long time etc. Very unprofessional to say the least. Thanks Gavin! Dont change! Good Customer service is rare. Gavin 5 stars.

They do not appear to honor their waiting period policies and cause grief to the dental offices (and patients) trying to process claims and communicate, etc., taking way too long. I got a 'bill overdue notice' before receiving the 'bill'. Mostly non-existent customer service. Tried numerous times to simply sign in. They had numerous ways to block that and forced me to re-verify my account by email w/the UNBLOCK and the CODE methods which absolutely failed. Need HUGE passwords that I must have entered 10 times w/all the verification BS and all I ever got was 'UNABLE TO SIGN IN' w/no explanation. I NEVER got a reply from their email address('s) and now all of them pop-up 'INVAILD EMAIL ADDRESS'. [Not a good sign.] Multiple phone numbers w/different auto-info. When finally speak to someone guess what they say; 'It would be better if you 'emailed' your concerns so we could have a better look at 'your' problem. Absolutely no way to accomplish this of course. My 'problem' was in signing up w/this loser outfit from the get go. Now I must start over again w/new insurance and w/new waiting periods. My guess is they are defunct in relatively short order (I hope).

Worst company in the world. They pretend to not keep records and defraud the elderly, like my mom, to the point of being more expensive than their fix income. Their initial life insurance policies claimed that compounded interest would cover this. WRONG! Compounded interest disappears when people get old. Just the worst and most disgusting company in the world.

Zero stars are not an option. Pay $108 a month for my daughter and me. Have had plan for 5 years. Just found out that after all this time they still only cover $1200 a year for work. Save your money, find another place..

I started employment 4 months ago, and had a crown crack in half. I went to the dentist and because this is considered "Major" - I have to wait twelve months to get fixed or pay the dentist out of pocket 8k. I will be canceling my Ameritas coverage as soon as open enrollment comes up. YOU AR WAY BETTER OFF WITH ANYTHING OTHER THAN AMERITAS - FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY WHEN IT COMES TO DENTAL EXPENSES!

I'm a new client. within 1 months of staring on Ameritas they denied a procedure. My dentist is in-network and she's surprised at this. They appealed and got someone who didn't understand what they were reading who told them it was denied. I phoned and the woman was nice and checked with others. It was obvious that she was struggling to explain what the problem is - meaning it's ridiculous. Finding out if I can cancel this dental insurance.
