I (70+) purchased a stair lift (model Rave Fr-LH) from AmeriGlide on May 26, 2020 and shipped it to my house. It arrived in 3 packages the next week. My grandsons moved the packages upstairs for storage and installation. After reading installation instructions and taking an inventory of parts I and grandson started putting the stair lift together. The instruction manual is OK, but not detailed enough. We had some difficulty putting the rails together especially the folding rail. The stair lift works fine after final installation. We need to make sure no one is below the folding rail when the lift is called downstairs by remote. The chair is stored upstairs away from the downstairs high traffic area. The lift also charges upstairs where it is plugged in to 120 volt outlet. After a 1.5 months the stair lift operates very good. I purchased it for my wife who has MS and difficulty climbing stairs. I would have given the rating a five, but because of the poor instructions I gave it a four. There was no parts inventory and they were not named or numbered in a detailed inventory list. So when the instructions said to put together a part (by pictures and not by numbering) we had some difficulty gathering the part. We had to put together the rail two times. After some trial and error the stair lift works whenever it is needed.

The stair live arrived with broken parts and a measurements were wrong that the salesperson helped us to do. After several calls and emails still is unresolved. Very disappointed in the service and the dishonesty when it comes to dealing with your customers. the bottom line is we want the airlift fixed installed properly that's all we want if that can't be done we would like to have a full refund of the monies paid.

Poor communication. And I was quoted a price the it jumped 25% overnight

Awesome product. A little pricy, but good quality. I would have given 5 stars if install instructions had been better. There were several errors and they were somewhat vague.

This is NOT a seamless process. Salespeople more than eager to assist you with sale. Ordered the lift chair on 07/07/20. Paid in full, including installation, as required. Told it would be to us in 7 - 10 days with a shipping confirmation to come. Had to keep calling to get confirmation of shipment. Left messages. Took days before I got an email. Several times told different dates it would ship. Then got shipping confirmation but tracking said it was going to a different state. Had to call on that. Was sent wrong shipping confirmation. Turns out it wasn't even our order and our order hadn't even been shipped out! Finally all 4 boxes arrived. But then you have to call a separate number to get an installer to schedule your lift chair to be installed. Very time consuming and frustrating.

The unit works great. But the instructions are not very good. Some steps are left out, some are not in the right order, and some are missing very important photos.

A great chair at a price cheaper than La-Z-Boy and delivered one week early. Thank you!!!

The Ameriglide Lift we got was great and the installation process was easy.
